Well, it's official I am obsessed with flat oxfords... never expected this but I just can't get enough of them. They make every casual outfit look sooooo much cuter adding easy flare. It is definitely the most perfect shoe to take me back to university...ideal for campus life.
As for today, well a long day at an art gallery awaits me... I complete my internship this week and I have so much work to finish that it will definitely keep me on the run, which of course will require comfortable shoes. So, here's what I am stepping out in: simple and easy!
Therefore, after receiving an e-mail from one of the lovely readers, I was more than excited to do my research on my new favorites and find a variety of styles and outfit options.
Personally, I believe that this shoe is a classic... because how can it not be? Men have been wearing them for ages, it is only a matter of feminizing them :P I think that they look best with simple outfits, nothing too complicated... since you want the shoe to be a statement. Simplicity is the key for me, well in every aspect of getting dressed.
For instance, Sienna Miller has been wearing these babies all over the world and really made this trend her own. I love her simple and easy approach, that is not overwhelming but perfectly feminine, delicate and casual.

If I was to "invest" in another pair it would definitely be simple, black, patent leather shoe.... classic but with a touch of interest!

I settled for a fun shoe. They really do make every outfit come alive and with my simple wardrobe-it works out perfectly.

Hello Darlings,
Summer is all about wearing as little clothing as possible, which mean wardrobe choices can be limited. Getting bored with my current summer choices and feeling uninspired... I decided to do something drastic, buying a cropped tank at American Apparel. I loved it so much that I wore it out of the store.
After today's shopping rendezvous, I am issuing myself a "stay away from the malls" note that I am going to hang up my door.... :P All that I see is SALE SALE SALE.. how can you not go in? Will power you might say....well, I don't have any :(
After my shopping date with my mom, I made a stop at Godiva to pick up some chocolate... and then we had a walk in a beautiful park in Toronto. I have spent a lot of time with my parents lately, and I cherish every moment with her...
(Eating Godiva chocolate... my favorite with raspberry filling. yum!)
Back to the outfit, it was so hot today... so I didn't mind being more naked than usual. The new tee and Abercrombie shorts were life savers, plus they are going to come in handy in Vegas (can't wait, I am counting down the days!).
While shopping today, I realized my 21st Birthday is just few weeks again.... and I panicked. Does this age officially make me a grown-up? My thoughts were overwhelming, so I realized if ever I can wear a cropped tee and tiny shorts this is the time... surely not 10 years from now!

The day was packed with activities which required a comfortable outfit that I could slip into and out of (makes shopping sooo much easier).... and of course my favorite Candela oxfords-I love these babies, they are sooooo comfortable and versatile. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! You guys are probably getting tired of seeing them, but I just can't help myself.
I am wearing: Necessary Objects Cotton Jumpsuit; Talula Wool Blazer;Candela Tokyo Oxfords; Tungsten Rings courtesy Superior Wedding Rings Jewelers; A.V. Max Cuff; H&M Bow Headband.
And a casual day required a casual and easy hair style.... I tend to get annoyed with my long hair constantly falling into my face. Although I really love how long it is and I am still growing it out, I do get frustrated with all the care and nurturing that goes into it. Ever since I started swimming, chlorine has been getting the best of it...
As for the nail polish that I am wearing... it was a little gift from one of my girlies. It is the most perfect shade of pastel pink-OPI Mod About You.
I would also like to thank all of you for your Las Vegas suggestions.... they are very helpful, since I am a complete organization freak and always have everything planed out.

Hello Darlings, Today was an especially exciting day since I booked my LAS VEGAS 21st Birthday celebration (yup, I turn 21 September 1st)..... soooooooooo EXCITED!!! This is an early b-day gift from my parents and I can't wait to go on September 2. Honestly, I am still jumping around !!!!
If you darlings have any suggestions as what to see, where to go, shop, eat and of course where to party?
I would really appreciate it!!!
Anyways, moving on from my over-excitement to today's outfit which I wore for dinner with one of my closest friends. Simple but on a dressy side. I love how the crystal accents matched the color of my shoes :) Yes... I know, I am a detail-freak! Plus, I thought that hot pink was an ideal color for a girls night out :P
To my surprise, I've been wearing American Apparel disco pants a lot this summer. I never expected this, but I really do love how they make every outfit that much more fun! OMG.... could this be me starting to slowly warm up to leggings after so many years refusing to even look at them... well, except for my ballet classes. Maybe... but not quite there yet and not sure if I will ever be!
