Formula that always works…

Hello Darlings,
Some things just need to stay simple...when I am overwhelmed with school, the last thing I need is extra worrying about what to wear. Although it would be a miracle if I could wake up and know exactly what to wear instead of walking into my closet...making a complete mess, sort out a million things on my bed and always end up late, in a rush and somewhat dissatisfied with what I wore. I always have a feeling that I know exactly what I want to wear but as soon as I step into that closet... I am overwhelmed! With a walk-in full of clothes ... It feels like I don't have anything to wear?!!!???? It drives me nuts!!!!
I know ladies that many of you feel this way in the mornings as well....so what is your secret or that perfect thing that you always reach for in such cases??? You know, the formula that always work????
I am wearing:Club Monaco tee (underneath); Soia&Kyo Charlie Jacket; Corpus Skinnies; Ed Hardy Scarf; Pedro Garcia Mary Janes; Gap Leather Purse; Pearl Earrings; Diamond Ring courtesy Ice.com Jewelers; Chanel Sunglasses.
For me that formula is simple.... skinny jeans, simple tee, cute jacket, scarf, heel/flats., sunglasses.It is always a variety of the sameness. To a certain degree awesome, since I know it works but at the same time I feel bored... knowing that I can always resort to my safe bet. Plus, these new babies are becoming my absolutely favorites and I don't seem to be willing to take them off... they are soooooo comfortable it still amazes me :)
However, I have a plan of action:
- Re-organize my closet..and make a post on it( yup, I will have a post coming up talking about different ways I organize my walk-in as a few of you have requested) - Draw some inspiration from my favorite Fall 09 fashion shows and random sources. - Settle down with school work and prevent it from overwhelming me. First weeks are the hardest, always. - Go shopping with mommy! - Remember: Breeze and Relax!!!
Well, I am off to read....

Date Night in French Connection

Hello Darlings,

After my date with books, I had a real date with Andrew. Yup, after two and half years we still go on dates :) Since we are not the couple to stay in, we are always exploring our city and the many cozy restaurants that it has to offer.

I enjoy reading magazines for inspiration, and dress up in new looks.

I bought this dress for New Years in Cancun and love it's form fit and pockets.

I also bought this Ed Hardy scarf. I do love the colors and the light cotton fabrics make it a perfect substitute for those days when it is too hot to wear cashmere. I am also okay with a tattoo effect in moderation, however I really love it on bathing suits, like the one I bought in Cancun Mexico.

My Sincere Apologies ….

Hey Everyone, I am so sorry for the lack of posts and comments... But I have a very good " excuse". This was the last long weekend before university starts again and trust me I was determined to make the best out of it. So little time so much to do.... SO HERE WE GO ... Friday Morning and Afternoon = As my obsessive/ compulsive shopping continues .... I spent the morning shopping online( Bluefly once again, hehe). Later on in the afternoon, I went shopping with my mommy ( she's the greatest) and was determined to find myself a purse (since I've been looking for one for forever, literally). As my fellow blogger and a Canadian,Ashleigh suggest that I should check out Marc by Marc Jacobs purses at Holt's ( similar to Barney's and Saks) - so I was on a mission to find a leather purse that I could use both daily and for uni. to carry my laptop. Although, I really did like the look M. J's purses and how much room they offered... they seemed to weight a ton.So in misery and disappointment I left empty handed... Until... I decided to stop at Gap to pick up some tee's ... and there it was - my perfect match. Weird, I now I would never have though that I would find a purse in Gap but it was very light and roomy and the quality was phenomenal and best of all it was only $220 - so I took the step and bought it. I also bought some skin care stuff from Sephora, and a few tees from Gap and a totally awesome scarf from French Connection ... and Ed Hardy Dress. I would like to introduce you to The Purse - you will see it all the time from now on, and that is a promise :D ( I know... I am such a nerd) Here it is: TA - TA

Here's what I picked up from Bluefly: Following the advise from a fellow blogger, the lovely Couture Carrie I decided to pick up a pair of black J Brand Skinnies.... A girl can't have too many pairs of jeans. J Brand Black Stretch Slim Pencil Leg Jeans And I could not resist picking up a simple cashmere dress.... and the price made the purchase even sweeter. Now it is a matter of patiently waiting to receive my shipments ... can't wait to share it with you :) I would also like to thank my lovely readers for the comments and suggestions..... I really enjoy reading them... SO PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO STATE YOUR HONEST OPINION ... ( no worries, you won't hurt my feelings if it is negative - but instead I will try and improve) ... LOTS OF LOVE, MARTA ( and that is my real name :P)
The rest of the weekend I spent at the cottage with my " boy- toy"( hehe) and just literally got home .... So I hope you forgive me for the lack of commitment :)
