Obsession Continues … ( part deux )

Inspiration
As I keep on purchasing pieces that will help me to transition into the fall season ... I continue to be inspired by the looks found on the Fall 2008 runways. After seeing Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2008 show, I fell in love with the blazer - vest combination that reminded me of traditional men's tuxedos. Although very hesitant to tryout the duo myself ... I went ahead and did. I decided on pairing the vest with my current obsession( trousers) and a structured velvet blazer such as those seen on the runways of Emporio and Giorgio Armani as well as Zac Posen.
I love the details - structured shoulders, ruffle at the bottom, and the chunky buttons - that give it a feminine feel.

Work Day

Although I am a full time Architecture and Fine Art Student and the University of Toronto, I am also working as a research assistant to one of my architecture profs. Since I began this job, my look has been evolving and maturing. And even since, the high waisted look was re- introduced, I've been in love with it, since it creates the most beautiful, classic, and statuesque silhouette. As for my job, I'm absolutely in love with it :)
