With pre-Fall 2012 collections released, it is just a matter of weeks before the fashion elites embark on their journey around the world. In a span of two months, their stilettos will strut into the tents of New York, Milan, London and Paris in search of the most coveted fashions for F/W’12. As they report the trends in the glossy pages of our favorite Sunday reads, we girls will be creating our own to-buy lists.
New York fashion week is the first of the four big events in the world’s fashion capitals. New York offers a first glimpse into the season’s trend. With the likes of Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta and Diane Von Furstenberg, it is the world of magic and mayhem. In my mind, it’s like a beautiful zoo where everyone feels a bit out of place. I mean, how can anyone possibly feel as if they are in their natural habitat? And if so, who are these people? :D
