Exit Strategy with Aritzia…

Hello Darlings,

I was so excited to read comments on "high-maintenance" post and you darlings made my day!!! I am thankful for being able to interact with so many interesting and inspiring people. Thank you :)

As for the outfit, I was going for a subtle yet sexy look for a date night out. I wore an all black outfit so my accessories would be the focal point.The heels, purse, bracelets and watch were all gold-tone and the scarf had gold threading. To make the outfit more fun, I chose a top with a bit of a surprise.

This Aritzia top was on sale from $45 for $35. It has a beautiful open back with black sash to create numerous different looks. The top is casual and simple but can be easily dressed up. You can definitely make a memorable exit and create a subtle and sensual look. In short, it's me: simple but with interesting detail. And not to forget this gorgeous Anemira Concept silk scarf was a gift from Turkey - It is sooo beautiful!!!

The focus of the outfit was my new Be&D shoes... that brought together the entire outfit and gave it a more going out feel. I bought these babies on Forward by Revolve. I love Forward, a sister store of Revolve Clothing with more upscale designers. They have Canadian 3-6 day shipping is FREE. Plus, they have the best sales on designer wear, especially shoes!

Overall, I felt comfortable and great... and even tried something new with my hair with a few tiny braids.

Skirt Issue

I've come to realize that figuring out what to pair with a pencil skirt is a challenge. Some women make it look so effortless, elegant and sexy. When I try wearing one, I feel like a secretary. So this is my attempt at wearing a pencil skirt to my internship meeting.

Emotion at its best … :)

Hello Darlings,

Ballet has been a part of my life since childhood... I trained for years and it is a passion that cannot be explained but only experienced. The pleasure and joy that it brought is a wonderful part of my life. Although I haven't had my foot is a ballet pointe' in years... it is still very much a part of my life.... just now only from as part of the audience.

The 2008/2009 National Ballet of Canada season has arrived. The first production is " Seagull" ( I went to see last Saturday) - conceived by the world acclaimed choreographer, John Neumeier and based on the Anton Chekhov's play. The entire work was like a choreographed poem with a theatrical experience. Although slightly tragic, it explored human emotion in ways that I've never seen in ballet .... It was fantastic.

My Little Black Dress

I decided to wear my favorite Nicole Miller little black dress with a cashmere cardigan, to cove up my shoulders... since I've been taught that bare shoulders are inappropriate at theaters and performing centers.

The photo is blurry, but the Christmas tree was so pretty and I love how all of the colors blend.

Speaking of little dresses.... PersonalShopper( click to check it out) did made at interesting post with quotes from different bloggers on what the LBD means or represents to them? Including myself...

Here's a close up of the bag and the jewelry I wore...I just love the contrast between the classic Raymond Weil watch and the contemporary A.V. Max studded cuff with a thick gold/platinum chair to bring the two together.
I also had a chance to indulge in a bit of shopping... and picked up this beutiful Handmade Genuite Italian Leather bag from Regina Italia and a pair of matching plum cashmere gloves from Portolano... and a pair of Juicy Couture flats - I just really love Juicy. I can't help myself, it's soo darn cute... lol. I can't wait to share it with you ... OOh yea.. and tomorrow, I have my hair appointment. Although I never do anything exciting, I just get highlight to bring out my natural hair color and layers...but I am actually growing my hair out even more... What do you guys think, good or bad idea ? But I will definately post photos.... :P Photobucket

P.S. For some time, I've receives comments aking me about my diet/exercise and beauty routine. I will make a post about my beauty routine. As for diet/exercise I don't really have any advice, since I don't believe in either, but will post my beliefs about having a healthy lifestyle.

Gap Loving …. :)

With simple sweaters and tees made of cotton and wool, Gap has become one my favorites for this season. I love their simplicity and the variety of staple pieces that they offer and not to forget ... how comfortable and soft it is. I never thought that I would wear Gap past the age of 13 but history repeats itself... and I find myself visiting Gap at every opportunity I get. In addition to my growing collection of Gap items, I just purchased this super soft cotton/cashmere blend sweater with cute little buttons of the shoulder and yellow stripes. Another purchase was an American Apparel bandage skirt which was crucial addition to my closet. Both of these pieces can be easy worn in the fall time with a trench coat,thick tights and cute flats for a casual look( perfect for uni.) or vampy heels for a little va va voom ....
