I apologize for such a delay with posts… I am once again bombarded with school work, since the first semester is done in three weeks.Anyways, lol….
This weekend I had a chance to see Twilight…and although I have never read the book, I LOVED IT… maybe because I developed a bit of a crush on the main actor, Robert Pattinson… hehe.
I am now looking into reading all of the books… but since I usually read only classics, I am a bit hesitant…. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT OR NOT?

i haven’t heard of this film but that boy in the photo sure looks cute for some reason i thought it was chace crawford but with shorter hair.
also i always love those essays that i had to write on things that i actually had a passion for. good luck

Yes - you HAVE to read Twilight (and all the others). The movie is about a tenth of what the book has to offer … and I liked the movie! And they won’t interfere with your schoolwork because even though they’re long, they go so fast. I do warn you that once you start Twilight, you won’t be able to stop until you finish Breaking Dawn. (Okay, I promise I’m not a 12-year-old fangirl. I just really like these books!)

Hello, first - sorry for my bad english (I know german but I know that yours is not so good so I’ll try my english :p) , second - I read you now for a while and I really like your style and the country and city you live in. Im sooo jelous. Im from Croatia (a small country in Europe, it was in Jugoslavia before the war) but I was before 2 years in Toronto (my family lives there) for a month and im in love with everything about Toronto and Canada

Now I cant believe you didnt read Twilight - even here had everyone heard about it and read it.. he he.. kidding.
Now really - I think Twilight IS a classic, because of their love.
The movie cant show enough how deep is their love, and their passion.
You should go for it and read it, then you will fall in a deep opsession with the thing (my vocabular is a littlebit empty) how real love should be and a boy should treat a girl, and love her. You will read the books over and over again.

Its about how you would give even your soul for be with the person you love, not a life time - FOREVER. And forever is a big thing

you must must must read the books. and i second the comment where they said once you start reading, you won’t be able to stop. the books are amazing. read them, for sure. i read each of them in a day or two. you won’t regret it.

And that Warhol essay sounds like so much fun. I always find writing essays about subject I am passionate about slightly more difficult than writing about the stuff I don’t care as much about…it’s like there’s so much I want to say and not enough word count space to say it

for susanna - Its not a vampire thing and not SF its, about love. I dont like vampires either and i didnt read the books for the same reason but then, when i started - i couldnt stop. The vampire thing is just a metapher for forbiden love, strong love…. you will not be disapointed if you read the books… youre live, or your perception will change….

dont know if u can use an antidote for essay, but when i was a little kid. we would sneak out and take train to city, nyc, that is… and watch outside studio 54. i saw andy warhol get out of a limo with rod stewart and walk into 54 together….and some blonde..didnt know who she was…
