Late Class and Toronto Style

Hello Darlings,

University is setting in and I am back into my student mode but I am still having a hard time adjusting my everyday wardrobe towards a more casual side... :S Tonight I took out my Garcia heels for a quick-y to my Cubism night class...since I drove, there was no reason not to and one big reason to wear them: I am in love with these babies :Pand love dressing up!

Despite the heels I did keep my outfit simple and casual...with my über-comfy Wang for Gap trousers, bustier tee and a cashmere cardi to stay warm in those heavily air-conditioned auditoriums :) Which all got me thinking, is there a Toronto style?

Every Monday the styles of a local blogger will be featured. This week, it’s Marta Tryshak of With Love Gabrielle. When you look in my closet, you see a bunch of items that won’t match with anything. I buy things for the item itself and don’t think about the entire outfit. I picked Marta, a fine art/architecture student at the University of Toronto (SG Campus), to feature as our local blogger of the week because her closet is filled with timeless pieces. They can be worn in the winter or in the summer, and won’t go out of style. Definitely a great pointer for broke students! Mint in Twenty8Twelve

Hello Darlings,

I finally had a chance to wear my new Twenty8Twelve dress and Pedro Garcia shoes and adore them both. The dress is risque short, butt works with opaque tights or a pair of super skinny jeans. As for shoes, my new Pedro Garcia Mary Jane's are perfection... comfortable and totally awesome :)

The dress is made of very beautiful silk in light mint-y color with pretty little circles. The circles are not evident in the pictures, but they make this dress unique to the rest of my closet. Plus, it's a perfect addition to my Vegas wardrobe. I also love how the dress is practical for both warm and cold weather.

Speaking of Las Vegas, I am creating an inspiration post with different outfits to help me figure out what to bring...since I am not very familiar with the atmosphere there. Hello Darlings, I apologize for such a delay with posts... I am once again bombarded with school work, since the first semester is done in three weeks.Anyways, lol....

This weekend I had a chance to see Twilight...and although I have never read the book, I LOVED IT... maybe because I developed a bit of a crush on the main actor, Robert Pattinson... hehe. I am now looking into reading all of the books... but since I usually read only classics, I am a bit hesitant.... WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT OR NOT?

Movie Run

Good thing that the run from the movie theater was short since I decided to wear my new fuzzy Juicy flats.
