Hello Darlings,
As my favorite stores continue to have amazing sales, today I ventured to Yorkdale Shopping Centre with my mother. I continue to slowly pick up items that will transition me into the fall.
The shocker of the day was Zara, which looked like a tornado went through it. Clothes were on the floor, in piles on the tables, and scattered all over the place. I've heard amazing things about Zara from other blogger's, but my experience discouraged me. So my question goes out to you my darlings, does a messy store and poor customer service discourage you from buying (in that moment or in the future)???
EVENING...As for today's outfit, well I love wearing outfits that do not require much effort and transition from day to night. I am a firm believer that it is better to be overdressed then under-dressed :) That's the main reason why I love AA Disco pants. The only difference that I settled for is my hair, I put in into a neat ponytail and added a cute bow headband.
I am wearing:
Susana Monaco Top
American Apparel Disco Pants
Mackage Leather Jacket
Gustto Cokera Purse
H&M headband

Hello Darlings,
Finally, I am putting the books behind for a few days and catching up on my beauty routine... eye brow threading, monthly hair trim, and spring facial, etc. A little shopping won't hurt too. Although I am still working on my " To Buy List", this season I am refusing to shop until my list is organized - to avoid mindlessly purchasing stuff.
As for today's outfit, I have a full day of errands (and a disorganized closet) so I wore this simple tee and instead of jeans I went for my American Apparel disco pants, and a simple hoodie. Easy!
Finally, I am putting the books behind for a just a day or two and catching up on my beauty routine... eye brow threading, monthly hair trim, and spring facial, etc. A little shopping won't hurt. Although I am still working on my " To Buy List". This season, I am been refusing to shop until I organize a list - otherwise I will mindlessly purchase stuff.

For those who are curious, disco pants are really comfy but I do feel a bit naked in them especially if I tuck anything in.They are a wonderful substitute for " boring" jeans.

I love this tee and cardi ... both have the cutest details.

Well I am running on 2 hours of sleep....so it's sleepy time for me :P
Hello Darlings,
I am most comfortable in neutrals or pastels, and usually avoid bright or loud colors (except in summer). Not sure if this is a phase and I do change my mind often, but never when it comes to colors.... I love black, grey, white and beige.
But color is not the only way to make an outfit exciting. Colorful accessories can make a dull outfit look fun, but so can playing with textures and materials. To me, nothing is as important as paying attention to DETAILS...
Details mean something to me, such as proper fit, stitching, no stains / rips, clean and wrinkle-free (always surprising to see how many people wear ripped or stained white tees).... Paying close attention to tiniest details makes an outfit look organized and neat.
Speaking of details: My biggest fashion faux pas is dirty shoes (salt stains in winter aside) - I mean, why would anyone want to "hurt" their shoes by not cleaning them. Personally, I cherish my shoes and want to keep them looking forever new.
I Love wearing bracelets /cuffs over simple cashmere gloves... to add some interest to a winter outfit. Also, I've always loved matching my gloves to my purse; do you think that's strange?
I am wearing:
Language Los Angeles Tunic
American Apparel Disco Pants
Soia & Kyo Annisa - Z Wool Coat
Portolano Cashmere Gloves in Eggplant
Accessories & Beyond Elastic Bracelet Set in Black & Gold
Kimberly Baker Dove Necklace
Regina Italia Handmade Italian Leather Bag in Plum
Juicy Couture Leather Boots

And thanks for your comments on the T by by Alexander Wang. Although the price is steep, I am unimpressed with the collection - the dresses remind me of night gowns. And I am curious if the quality and fit is what makes them expensive, since the materials are "not my favorite" nor are the items original in cuts. Hhhhmmmm......
A huge thanks to Anthea from Clothes Line Finds for an amazing tag....
Also, thanks to Alissa from mmm, maryjane (click to check it out) for featuring me :)
I wish you all a lovely day...weekend is almost here!!!
Today, I ordered Twilight Collector's Edition and a few Agatha Christie books. I've been collecting books for a while and thought that these are a good addition to my collection.
My Top 10 Favorite Books
"Twilight Saga" by Stephanie Meyer
" Leonardo's Swan" by Karen Essex
" Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte
" Scandal of the Season" by Sophie Gee
"1984" by George Orwell
Alchemist", " The Zahir" and " Eleven Minutes" by Paulo Coelho
" Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell
" Sister Carrie" by Theodore Dreiser
" Memoirs of Geisha" by Arthur Golden
Anything and everything by Agatha Christie
As for my outfit, I am wearing a Spring & Clifton V-neck Long Cardi together with Corpus Alpha in Cracked jeans. The cut is casual, the cotton is super soft, so it is comfortable for reading. But the details are what makes it more than just an everyday throw on shirt, with an interesting collar with a tie, cute pearl buttons at the shoulders, and the sheerness of the stripes.

To bring all the details together, I pull my hair back n a high messy bun with a headband and pearl earrings (to go with pearl buttons) and to make it more winter friendly I added a long cozy cardi with colorful buttons.
I wish you all a lovely Tuesday!!!
