Detail Freak…

Salut mes amis !!!( just practicing my French :P)
I think that I've come to realize that I don't like getting dressed during the summer months. Something about wearing as little as possible kind of throws me off. I feel awkward in shorts and minis( like my behind is showing).I miss wearing my cashmere scarves, my Mackage leather jacket and cozy sweaters. I hate feeling like my face is melting and like my hair is becoming a frizz-ball.Handling and dressing for heat is definitely not my forte.
So finally, the weather cooled to beautiful and refreshing 20 degrees and I've had a chance to wear what I love most... skinnies and blazers. OOh, yea and not to forget, no humidity :) As a result, I was pretty excited getting dressed for my Saturday date with Andrew....
The outfit consisted of my favorite Corpus Jeans, semi-sheer tee and my all time favorite BCBG Max Azria Blazer. It is simple but with detail, since I always make sure that my accessories compliment each other.. .for example, my gold bracelets compliment the gold chain on my purse( I really hate mixing silver and gold, I'm somewhat comfortable mixing gold and white gold or platinum),blazer's lining is almost the same color as my jeans. And of course, my mani and pedi always match.
I am a detail-freak and think that the most important part of getting dressed is paying careful attention to details. For me, everything needs to be neat (definitely wrinkle-free), coordinated and simple. I live by this formula!

Two and a half years…

Hello Darlings,
Yesterday Andrew and I celebrated out two and half year anniversary. Although it continued to rain( it has been raining for the last three days), the day turned out to be quite perfect... filled with flowers, dinner, desserts, and a lovely walk after the rain stopped.An ideal way to celebrate the wonderful times that we have shared over these years.
Since it was a pretty special occasion I decided to dress up, but settled for a simple look. I chose to wear my favorite Nicole Miller LBD paired with my favorite Mary Janes, to keep my feet nice and dry. Since it was pretty chilly outside, I topped it all of with my yet another favorite, Mackage leather jacket. All of my favorites combined into one outfit... :)

I wish that it would stop raining...it makes my wavy hair uncontrollably frizzy and impossible to tame. Speaking of hair, I think that my hair color got lighter because of the sun exposure and people keep asking me if I've colored it... But I haven't. Does SPF in hair products prevent hair from getting lighter???? And if so, which ones do you recommend???
Well, I'm off to study some French...I know that French is an exciting language but I think I had enough of studying German last year. Four languages down, one more to tackle... ugggh!

Last Exam and Gustto Loving…

Hello Darlings,

I have my last exam in few hours and can't wait to be finished. I am sooo tired and wearing heels would likely put me in a hospital. However, flats still keep the outfit looking chic and simple - and safe, lol.

But the best part is the purse: it steals all of the attention. Yup, I finally got my Gustto bag and it is PERFECTION. I am sooo excited about it.
This outfit combined some of my latest favorite purchases:

Seriously, if you're a flat lover, buy a pair of Bloch flats. They are pretty and sooooo comfortable. They also make a plain outfit look so much more adorable. Give them a try the quality is phenomenal!!!

Juicy Worship….

Hello Darlings,

I am flying to Germany then Ukraine on Wednesday. I haven't had the time to pack and I've been sick and trying to study.... UGGGh, still soooo much to finish. On a more positive note, I've finally received my Juicy Couture laptop bag. It is so cute and very spacious. I adore it. Perfect to fit a laptop, cord,and a book.

My Juicy Couture worship continues. It is simply adorable and makes everyday things feel more special. I also picked up a pair of Juicy pants to travel in. Maximum comfort but still cute.
As for my outfit, I opted for something that will raise my spirits - which of course meant heels!

I just also received my Gustto Purse and can't wait to share it with you in my next post. I will also post my travel outfit as well as let you know if my new luggage reached my expectations.

As for now, I am of to study for my last exam (tomorrow).... ugggh, I am sooo tired.
