Hello Darlings,
Dressing for summer comes with some challenges. Something about wearing as little as possible throws me off. I feel awkward in shorts and minis (as if my behind is naked). I prefer wearing cashmere scarves, my Mackage leather jacket and cozy sweaters.
I hate feeling like my face is melting and like my hair is becoming a frizz-ball. Handling and dressing for heat is definitely not my forte. So finally, the weather cooled to a refreshing 20 degrees so I could wear skinny jeans and a blazer.
The outfit consisted of my favorite Corpus Skinny Jeans, semi-sheer tee and my all time favorite BCBG Max Azria Blazer. It is simple but with detail, for example my gold bracelets complement the gold chain on my purse. And of course, my mani and pedi always match.
I am a detail-freak and think the most important part of getting dressed is paying careful attention to details. For me, everything needs to be neat (definitely wrinkle-free), coordinated and simple. I live by this formula!

Absolutely love those skinnies! And your blazer looks wonderful, the exposed lining is such a lovely touch. I am definitely a detail freak lol. I pay attention to everything from my underwear, to my socks, to my belt. Even if nobody else sees it, it is about making yourself happy.

We are the complete opposite when it comes to weather! I grew up in a hot climate and LOVE dressing for the heat. Only one or two pieces necessary… none of the horrible layers to deal with - tights, socks, leggings, sweaters, jackets, coats… oh! I find it so awful to dress for cold weather. Haha!
I completely agree… just cannot mix silver and gold.

I love the shot of vibrant magenta in your mani & pedi - The outfit looks fabulous…and those shoes? Wow! Love them! I just purchased 2 blazers, one in gray and the other in black, in 2 totally different styles and wore one for the first time today as well - much cooler day and I was thankful for that also~
As for details - I am quite picky as well! I get my nails done every 3.5 weeks, love my toes to look pretty, and am careful about details in my look. I appreciate the time and consideration that you put into your outfits - you look so beautiful~

I work in a heavily air conditioned office, so I pretty much get to wear cool weather clothes all the time. But I don't like it! I wish I got to dress for the summer heat, for once!

You look gorgeous. I agree with you about dressing for summer. I love to mix and match different layers and when I try to do that in the summer, I just end up taking most of the layers off! Sigh.
Gorgeous look! Love the jeans and the blazer. The shoes are pretty hot as well! While I do crave summer months (because there are so few here), Autumn is probably my favorite, just beause I love wearing blazers and leather jackets, plus I adore knitwear (most of all cardigans).
I am pretty much a detail freak as well, though I am a bit more lenient when it comes to matching pedi and mani.

and I wouldn't call myself a detail freak. honestly, I like wrinkles. I dress kind of grunge.. so my clothes are sometimes a bit boyish and really trown together.

I love your skinnies! I have this one pair that I wear ALL the time and have had such trouble finding another pair I like. The inseams are always too long for my taste. Love the blazer too. Such a great look!
i kind of feel the same way about summer. and, to make matters worse, i'm working from home right now, so yesterday i didn't even get dressed until 5pm. *cringes with embarrassment*
