Hello Darlings,

” A piece that was once relegated to the masculine set has now been streamlined as a series of soft silhouettes for spring, varying from fluid trousers to daring dhoti styles to chic cropped cuts. Paired with blazers, blouses, and knits, these smart looks were topped off with playful purses.”

Inspire me…

Rue du Mail; Louis Vuitton;Salvatore Ferragamo; Missoni;Martin Grant

I’ve always adored trousers and this season seems like a perfect time to experiment with different styles. Personally, I always stick with a men’s inspired loose trouser, only only because they are comfortable ( like pjs) but also because they have they easy cool look. However, this seasons I am definately ready to try out different styles…we’ll see where that takes me, lol.

Loose

I prefer a simple black higher waist trouser with pleats and that is made of cotton wool blend. They are perfect for work, everyday casual, or even for dinner or cocktails. This look I wore for a dinner...

I just body-con top with an interesting lace print and an open back…it was simple but not office-y. It is just a matter of experimenting… and that’s what I am still doing.

I am wearing:
Club Monaco Top
French Connection Trousers
Michael Kors booties
A.V.Max Cuff

As for my hair, well that was a pain… first it was down then it was up and then down again. I couldn’t make up my mind…. What do you think?

P.S. I would like to send out a special thanks to Danz from Fatal Attraction 2 Fashion for the lovely awards.
I would like to pass these on to every single blogger out there!!!!

Thank you so much for your support :)

Well, off I go to study for my exam….

I wish you all a lovely day!!!

With Love…
Marta

you look so prim and polished, as always. great look. i think your hair style depends on the restaurant. if its a fun and loud one, leave it down. if its more classy/expensive go up!

gorgeous outfit! i love everything about it- the fitted, low backed shirt, the high waisted, wide legged trousers. its a different silouette for you, but still in your same vein of style.

    i vote for hair up!

I love cats (my name!) and your pants :)

I like the back of the gray top you have tucked into the black trousers! I have a navy blue three quarter lengthed sweater that has a similar dip in the back, that I absolutely love. It’s a way to show some skin but in a elegant tasteful way!

  13. Tiffany says:

another gorgeous outfit! i love black trousers as well. they can easily dress things up without being too dressy.

  14. Wanderlusting says:

I love up because it shows off your amazing face and you don’t seem to rock it as often. Hair up takes your confidence.

I like the pants a lot, probably would suit me a lot more than the skinny trend, esp flattering when paired with a tight top, like you’ve done. Doesn’t hurt that it makes your legs look a mile long either - though I suspect they already are!

  15. Join the Gossip says:

These pants look good on you. One has to be very thin to wear them though, becuase you can end up having a Jessica Simpson experience. Good luck on your exam!

wow, i REAAALLLY adore this outfit! you look so wonderful…i am of course lusting for both that top and those pants…
your hair is awesome either way, but i guess my vote would be to wear it up with a swoop back top like this-showing some back is so sexy.
