Hello Darlings,

I’m not sure it I should call this a fashion post …. but anyways, as I’ve mentioned, I went to the Royal Ontario Museum(ROM) this weekend. I will openly admit that I”m a sucker for museums and galleries …. Andrew and I spent the day in the museum and have decided to come back in couple of weeks to finish the rest of the exhibitions… later on we went to grab some dinner at charming little bistro near by… and to me that is an idea Saturday :)

Although my outfit is nothing special, it was incredibly comfy …. walking around the museum for hours + no foot pain at all = a very happy girl!!!

However, Finding parking a b*tch in downtown ….. :P

The ROM is the 5th largest museum in North America, containing more than 6 million items and over 40 galleries. It is currently undergoing a major renovation and expansion project, dubbed Renaissance ROM. The centerpiece is the recently opened Michael Lee-Chic Crystal, designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and Bregman +Hamann Architects.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the featured exhibitions :
Enjoy :D

In my part 2 of Exploring the ROM… I will feature their new exhibition on textiles and tailoring as well as art piece that inspired one of my favorite couture collections …. Talk to you soon :)

i’m a sucker for museums, and more art galleries. i could spend hours in them. they don’t let us take photos though, well it’s more like the cia swoops in and body tackles you to the floor.

Looks like you had so much fun celebrating your birthday, and I am very happy for you!

Loved your collages of pictures from the ROM, although I was a bit surprised that taking pictures was allowed in there. They are so much more stringent in Vienna. Currently there is an exhibition of Van Gogh’s originals here, and I am SO eager to see it.

    Have a lovely weekend, dearest!

    xxxxxx

totally adorable outfit. I have never been to the royal ontario museum but would love to go. When I lived in ottawa I went frequently to the national gallery and loved it everytime. Especially when they had the Renoir exhibition.. lovely.
