Current Obsession…. Slouchy Trousers
Hello Darlings,
Although I love slim jeans and wear them all the time, I have never gotten used to the idea of leggings. Maybe, it’s because I feel naked in them… but whatever reason, I’ve never worn leggings outside of my dance / pilates class. What is your take on leggings ?
The LEAN LOOK has been around for ages and I am slowly developing a love/hate relationship with it. Meanwhile, I have totally fallen in love with slouchy trousers. I just love how effortless they looks and how seductive they make you feel. Plus, it is so easy to dress them up or down.
If the full - leg trousers are too drastic of a change from your skinnies, try boyish tapered pants, like the ones seen at the Isabel Marant fall collection.
As for my outfit, I have made a post of these trousers before. But this night, I was inspired by the Emporio Armani Fall 2008 collection, and the way that the gray trousers were beautiful paired with a sexy champaign coloured top. Here’ s is my take on this sexy look:
Current Obsession Continues (thanks)
With Love…
Marta

Leggings are not me. I used to wear them before… But now I prefer trousers like the ones in the pics you posted. Your look is perfect for going out. So stylish! xx
Wow, it looks so sexy especially the back - that open back and wide leg combination…hm…. love it.
On the matter of leggings, i feel the same way as you. Moreover, i feel like my legs look strange or something, don’t know but my knees were not meant for tight trousers and stuff.
I kinda understand what you mean about leggings…well I’ve never quite had the experience, apart from a few parties, however I guess it would feel slightly naked! Annnd I absolutely love boyfriend jeans, they do look amazing on most women. Your trousers look lovely on that top! Oh, and the velvet blazer in the post below is suuuuper, love it love it love it!!
I’ve tagged you dear!
perfect !
i love it
thank for the great vision
I wish you a great evening
cheers from Paris

Great outfit.
very nice…wow,..wow…wow…is all I can say..I like the way you paired that more revealing top with the trousers..very classy!p.s. You have to go to Kensington market one day..or at least Queen st. but a lot of the vintage shops there are just ok…p.s. did you pick courses yet?? This was the first year I didnt get waitlisted for anything..well its also my last year..so I guess they finally cut me some slack :s…
Perfume is a wonderful book, a bit creepy at times, but definitely worth checking out! Although because it was translated from German you feel there aren’t enough words in the English language for ‘smell’. Oh and apparently the movie is quite good, although I have yet to pick that up.
hey sexy back! these looks works for you!
:)
abt leggings, i heart them like Lindsay Lohan.. haha! it seems like im the only one here
ps. how tall are you?
LOVE IT!! that outfit is perfection.. and overall i really like your style.
oh and thanks for stopping by our blog.. would you like to trade links?
I loveeeeee leggings. but.. i experimented once with wearing ballet flats with them (extremely cute ones which had this embellished skull) and my aunt asked if I was going to ballet class. Lol, then and there i decided no more leggings with ballets!!
but leggings and heels look very sexy in my opinion, just as long as you pair it with a tunic top which covers your butt. i like em as much as skinny jeans.
i love this outfit you have on. too bad i truly dont feel i can pull off high waisted.. they look really nice.
nice outft, you wear it well
I loooove leggings and skinny jeans, but as a layering piece under a tunic or dress.
Those wide leg pants are fabulous on you and I like how you balanced them out by showing some skin on top!
hey there sexy! thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. and thanks for sharing your story. i feel like we have a connection now.
i know what you mean about the real home not feeling like ‘real’ anymore and the new home also not. it seems like we dont belong. but thanks to our blogs, we get to meet people like us.
you really make my day!
ps: that sexy top paired with that trousers is sooo cool. and sooo me. lurve it!
a flawless outfit. the trousers are definitely something. nice job!
Your look is so sophisticated and prim.

the back of the dress is crazy flattering. It’s sexy and subtle at the same time.
You look so elegant. I really like those pants. Oh and thank you very much for your super nice comments.
PS: I just noticed you are in Canada. I too have family, from my husband’s side, in Toronto.
You look dazzling!
Those pants are incredible and look amazing on you. Fantastic outfit overall.
there seems to be great debate about leggings lately. i like them, but not when worn as pants. under a skirt or a long top is cute though. and i like your outfit! it seems a bit more formal than the typical going out outfit (a short dress or something), but stylish at the same time.
link me back if possible? thanks!
those pants looks great on you.
great pants, i was just looking to get a similar pair.
Love the look! Very chic!
this is an amazing outfit. I love everything about it!
those trousers are great! And I love the way you used them to create a formal outfit. Very classically sexy.
I’m crazy about your pants here
WOW
