Just wanted to say a quick hello and wish everyone a lovely Monday.Between my exams and assignments, I don’t have much time for anything else, even sleep. I usually stay away from taking pictures when I am in a bad mood aka exam time. Really, who wants to see grumpy/exhausted looking images! Not fun! Despite the stressful times, taking care of yourself is quite important. And feeling fabulous can be a challenge, but at least you can try! This is my attempt at looking fabulous when feeling totally non-fabulous 
My theory is: when you’re feeling down the least you can do is put a tiny bit of effort into your appearances. Just because you’re under a ton of stress, doesn’t mean that your fabulous factor needs to suffer! Even if it is just spending that extra 10 seconds to put on mascara or concealer or blush… So, darlings put your best heels on and take your fabulous self’s for much deserved fun. And yes, this is the pep talk that I give myself in the mirror, occasionally!!! Sometimes, you just need to remind yourself of the most basic things. Just never forget (even when feeling down) that you’re fabulous!!!! I think for me, this outfit did the trick in making me feel that much more pretty when running on only 5 hours of sleep:P
Last night consisted of awesome company, great cocktails, and an entertaining venue. Definitely an occasion that called for a “fun” outfit. I settled on sparkles and frills!!!
I am wearing: Alice+Olivia Sequence Top ( from Winners); H&M Skirt (from H&M); YSL Trooper Heels (from Holts Last Call); Michael Kors Watch ( gift from Andrew); Amber and precious stones earrings (gift from Parents).
Well, so much for my rant…I am off to to study! I have a long week ahead of myself! If only Le Courbusier could write an essay for me ( on himself)!!! Having to watch Oscars and write a paper is not an easy task For red carpet reviews check out Lauren Lanza Osias! I love her blunt reviews!Always honest and always entertaining.

Awww…thank you.
I can’t say…I didn’t find these Oscars to be very interesting fashion wise. Zoe Saldana had an interesting dress and I was really disappointed by Diane Krugger.
I understand the stress your feeling, I have a midterm this week and a couple of response papers and finding the time to do all that and sleep is hard. But I agree that it is worth the extra minute to feel fabulous because when your confident in what your wearing, your confident in your studies! Good Luck!

I totally agree with you - when I’m feeling down, one of the easiest ways to lift my spirits (if shopping isn’t an option) is spending extra energy on the “fabulous factor.”

First of all, I completely understand and agree with what you mean by a fab outfit can give you an instant oomph, and I’m glad that that outfit made you feel that way! I love your outfit as usual and good luck with your exams and essays! I’ve been on a weekend getaway in my room with my laptop and books - no joke! My bf thought I was joking and thought I was going to read fashion-related books and magazines and blogs all weekend long - little did he know that it was the exact opposite!

I don’t put many personal photos on my blog precisely because I do look stressed, sleep-deprived and cranky so often! Law school takes it toll for sure…But you look fabulous there. I find that if I dress up, instead of looking like a bum, I usually feel better, too.
