For the past month, I've been excited for the arrival of fall and all the beautiful layering pieces of the season. However, I am also a bit nostalgic about beautiful summer days and breezy dresses. Confusing, I know!
Maybe it's a style issue to transition between seasons or feeling stuck in a style rut.... constantly turning to jeans, ballerinas and a cashmere. But no worries darlings, I have regained my stylistic inspiration... and am ready to attack the daily challenge of "a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear" :D. It's amazing how much one can philosophize about clothes, and I am not even going to go into the topic of shoes.
But then again, where else is the girl to unleash her pleasure of ranting about all things fashion and beautiful if not on the blog. So shall we...

Toronto International Film Festival is well underway and downtown is swarmed with celebs, paparazzi, fans, and celebrity stalkers :P Despite being annoyed by the occasional hassle, like most people I enjoy the lively atmosphere and the fun events during the Film Festival. On tonight's WithLoveGabrielle agenda was Stella Artois Film Screening at The Drake Hotel to celebrate the opening of TIFF. Thank you Noor!

Among all things fun happening in my life, I just celebrated my 22nd birthday in the company of friends and family this past weekend. It was a perfect way to wrap up a wonderful summer and spend much needed quality time with my loved ones.
I can't thank enough everyone for making my birthday so special. Thank you :)

Whew, it has been a crazy summer...full of unexpected events and never ending study sessions! As the summer is coming to a halt and I am counting down the days to my birthday...I must admit that I am looking forward to a start of a new season.
It is not only because I adore fall fashions, but because fall is a beginning of something new. It is the time to pack away summer closet and unpack the fall attire, decide on a darker and richer hue for the hair do, switch from sherbets to burgundies on your nails, tone down the pink lip color, take out the cashmere reserves, and of course step forward with booties and boots! How can it not be exciting?The beautiful coats, the stunning scarfs, a million ways to layer a cardi, the opaque tights, and of course the leather jackets! Just the thought of a beautiful fall day, with a hot coffee in hand, absorbing the last rays of sunshine, surrounded by the falling leaves and the golden colors..makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)
