With every new step comes a wave of anxiety. Meanwhile establishing a career path comes a wardrobe crisis. Getting thrown into a world of conservative, prim and fancy is not an easy endeavor.Especially when trying to make a lasting first impression and for me the way you're received is shaped by that impression. Of course, there's that good-old saying "don't judge a book by its cover", but really don't you judge people even in the slightest manner when you first meet them? Personally,I try to stay away from judging however I do form a certain opinion based on that first impression.
As Edith Head noted, "You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it." Which makes you wonder, is the secret to success a killer wardrobe? Well, such silly qualities as intelligence, dignity,honesty and wit are quite useful. But what can compete with a woman in Christian Louboutin. Don't be freaked out...I am only joking!!! But if you do believe in the above statement, then this post is about to get super dull for you....

For the past month, I've been excited for the arrival of fall and all the beautiful layering pieces of the season. However, I am also a bit nostalgic about beautiful summer days and breezy dresses. Confusing, I know!
Maybe it's a style issue to transition between seasons or feeling stuck in a style rut.... constantly turning to jeans, ballerinas and a cashmere. But no worries darlings, I have regained my stylistic inspiration... and am ready to attack the daily challenge of "a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear" :D. It's amazing how much one can philosophize about clothes, and I am not even going to go into the topic of shoes.
But then again, where else is the girl to unleash her pleasure of ranting about all things fashion and beautiful if not on the blog. So shall we...

Among all things fun happening in my life, I just celebrated my 22nd birthday in the company of friends and family this past weekend. It was a perfect way to wrap up a wonderful summer and spend much needed quality time with my loved ones.
I can't thank enough everyone for making my birthday so special. Thank you :)
