Hello Darlings,
Last night while reading Vanity Fair, I came upon an interesting quote by Thackeray:
I shop unnecessarily, and when I don't want to...
Then I comfort myself with the thought that my new item is fabulous.
Fabulous? What am I thinking, I am a smart woman who knows better. I know exactly what I am doing, but then why can't I resist??? So after every shopping trip, I either "forget" to mention some of the purchases or just simply lie... Why? I don't know, it's not like anyone punishes me. The only reason is the guilt... and shame from not being able to control myself. AS I came to realize this all, I try to restrain myself but can I? I really don't know. I don't even have second thoughts about shopping... I just do it for fun and never reconsider what I've bought. But once it all sets in, I feel ashamed of myself and guilty for falling into the trap of fabulous-ness.Because really, do clothe make us beautiful people? I don't believe so... so what it is then??? Why are we so interdependent?
Hello Darlings,
I love this simple Maggie Ward dress with a tint of sparkle. It is comfortable and goes with anything. Tonight I wore it with my Mackage leather jacket. Never thought a leather jacket would work for me but it gave character to my outfit - and made me feel like a " bad ass".
Tonight's soiree was a dinner party at a restaurant followed by Romeo and Juliet Ballet. If you live in Toronto, the performance is incredible. Visual and emotionally charged - you won't be able to take your eyes off the stage. I am still overwhelmed how wonderful it was :)
As for my outfit, well I went for simple...with a touch of sparkle :)
I wore my Ruthie Davis "screen" heels with Swarovski crystals. These shoes make me feel like a princess and to match the patent leather of the shoe, I wore patent leather Coach wristlet. I really love how the Swarovski crystals on the heels complement the sparkle of the dress and the patents leather adds a bit a little something to the entire outfit.

Hello Darlings,
Some women dress in such extremes they represent everything that I adore - feminine, simple, gutsy, sensual and classy - she's comfortable in her own skin and knows that she's fabulous.

But is it Fabulous or Selfish???
I admire women who to dress impress everyday. Women who don't seek man's attention by what she wears, and exude confidence and sensuality that bedazzles. But people often so judgmental that you're dressing to make some kind of statement.
Seriously... why is it that when a woman dresses to impress, men assume it's for them. Or, women often chime in that she's being an "attention whore". Why can't a woman dress to impress just for herself? Is it ever wrong for a woman to wear stilettos and be perfectly polished, just to feel fabulous? Is it ridiculous to consider this selfish?

Well, if it is selfish ... then I want to be the most selfish person on the planet.
There's nothing wrong with a woman dressing up and feeling pretty.

My fabulous of the "moment" are definitely loose trousers. I also love the simplicity with great details. More current favorites are: leather jackets, simple white shirts, structured coats with great details (ex. amazing buttons), and of course, wayfarers!

Now put on your cutest pair of shoes and ladies enjoy being fabulous !!!
Forget men and others, just be fabulous for yourself !!!!
Excited to reveal my new Michael Kors Duck Boots. I've been dying to buy them ever since they came out this winter, so when by chance I came across them on sale for $100 it was a done deal.

They are not exactly the prettiest shoes ever, but they are perfect winter shoes - rubber, water-proof but with a high patent leather heel. They are also incredibly comfortable and I can wear them all day without slightest sign of discomfort.
I am wearing:
Maggie Ward Dress
Talula Hoodie
Mackage Leather Jacket
Calvin Klein Opaque Tights
A.V. Max Gold Studded Cuff
Michael Kors duck boots

For my fellow Twilighters, I decided to also post some pics of Twilight Collector's Edition. Although the book is beautiful, it is only worth buying if you're (A) a book collector or (B) a crazy obsessed Twilight fan. In my case it is more B as opposed to A.

The gorgeous book includes: - a slide- in case. - the book is covered in beautiful cloth. - the inside pages are made of top quality paper with beautiful calligraphy. - the front page features Stephanie Meyer's signature. - it also includes an attached ribbon book mark.
As for the Twilight Soundtrack - every single song is terrific. Next on my list is the Kings of Leon soundtrack and Twilight DVD.
