Hello Darlings,
I am wearing:
My fav. J brand
Torn tee -
Roots Scarfs
BCBG MAx Azria Blazer
Juicy Couture Mary Janes
P.S. I just realized that I am one of those people who will keep wearing their favorite pieces over and over again...while the closet is packed with stuff. I just don't understand why I do it.
It was 1988 ( and the year I was born) : power was in, and the fashion experts talked about " power dressing". Twenty years later, both 80s power style and the debate on power and fashion have spent two decades at the back of the closet. But the phenomena have returned.Women are climbing the ladder of political power and the fashion press is analyzing the style of powerful people. On runways of fall/winter 2008, power dressing is very much on display: several designers allude to strong career women or flirt with 80s stereotype of power hungry secretaries. This seasons is unusually buttoned-up and the style is more individualistic, representing competence, independence and strength in many ways.
As summer has come to an end and everyone made their way back to classes and workplaces, it seemed like an appropriate time to blog about dressing for success. Whether you are in school, university, or a workplace dressing accordingly is important. As for me, Monday was rather an important day as I started my classes and had several meeting with professors. Therefore, I had to dress both young/casual/appropriate. But when the nerve get the best of you and an inspiration is nowhere to be found ... what was a girl to do? But turn to black.....

Hope you are enjoying the first days of autumn.
Hello Darlings,
I'm not sure it I should call this a fashion post .... but anyways, as I've mentioned, I went to the Royal Ontario Museum(ROM) this weekend. I will openly admit that I"m a sucker for museums and galleries .... Andrew and I spent the day in the museum and have decided to come back in couple of weeks to finish the rest of the exhibitions... later on we went to grab some dinner at charming little bistro near by... and to me that is an idea Saturday :)
Although my outfit is nothing special, it was incredibly comfy .... walking around the museum for hours + no foot pain at all = a very happy girl!!!
However, Finding parking a b*tch in downtown ..... :P
I am wearing :
Torn Tank
Abercrombie & Fitch Shrug
J Brand Skinnies
A.V. Max New York Cuff
Gap Purse
Juicy Couture Flats
Chanel Sunglasses
The ROM

The ROM is the 5th largest museum in North America, containing more than 6 million items and over 40 galleries. It is currently undergoing a major renovation and expansion project, dubbed Renaissance ROM. The centerpiece is the recently opened Michael Lee-Chic Crystal, designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and Bregman +Hamann Architects.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the featured exhibitions :
Enjoy :D
Hey Everyone :)
Remember this dress ?
Well it's a shirt now....
I didn't take the pictures at the show because I forgot my camera at home ... but here's my outfit.
Basically, this is what happened .... I ordered this dress with intentions of wearing it on my Birthday which is on September 1. ( yep, a week from now) I received this dress about two weeks ago and it turned out to be a little long ( just like on the pic), so I decided to take in to get in hammed and dry cleaned .... Well, it's been a week and I went to pick up my dress..... AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? The dress was now a shirt.( It went from 35 inches to 19) Basically, instead of taking off 1 inch they took off about 19.... Kill me now, who makes that kind of a mistake .... I was so upset I ended up crying like there was no tomorrow. As a result, the company is now saying that a dress probably shrunk .... but come on, isn't thats why we take stuff for dry cleaning ?????? SO IT DOES NOT SHRINK? Oooh ... yea, and this was one of the best dry cleaners in the city .... So, right now I am in a huge dispute with the owner and I am not sure what will happen ... But I promise to post pics of the SHIRT DRESS as soon as I get it back and tell you the ending of this tragic story..... I have never even worn the dress, not even at home with heels on ... And now, I can't find the same dress in my size :(
BUT I DID FIND THIS .... I will call this my pain - shopping, you the kind you do after a break up ... you absolutely do not need it , but buy it because it make you feel better ... AND that is exactly what I did ... Tomorrow, I am planning to continue with my serious healing therapy by for some retail therapy with my mommy ...
My on - line retail therapy was complete at Active Endeavors ...and this is what I found .
1. Harrow Shirt by Totem
2. Willie Scoop Knit Dress by Rhys Dwfen -
3. Chix Dress by Maggie Ward
NOW, it a matter of waiting for them to arrive and hopefully before my B-day.
And now on to my weekend .......
Although, I am not a hopeless romantic ... my boyfriend - who's real name is Andrew - does like to surprise with the most romantic things, randomly. This time, he was wonderful enough to surprise me with tickets to " Dirty Dancing" that I've been dying to see... The night was perfect and I must admit " I had the time of my life" ( cheezy phase, but it is from the movie)... Everything about the show was amazing, from the old theater, to the lively music, so an outstanding performance ... absolutely perfect. I know, how awesome is he? lol
P.S. thanks baby, you're the best ( kisses)
I am wearing:
- Hayden Cashmere Dress
- Jucity Couture Mary Jane's
- Dove Necklace by Kimberly Baker Jewelry

By the way, welcome to my closet (well one side of it, lol).... I know it is a complete crazy mess and I can't find most of my stuff in it ... But I have an excuse... I am still renovating my room which is taking must longer than I ever expected... I am finally done with changing every in my bathroom, and my room is coming together very slowly... As for the closet, well that is still a work in progress ... I don't even know what to do with it .... SO PLEASE, SAVE ME FROM THE MISERY OF LOOKING AT ANOTHER HOME MAGAZINE AND LEAVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS >>>> PRETTY PLEASE :) and thank you
EXCITING : I would like to thank Leeann for featuring me in on Beauty Chat Blog( click here, to check it out) ..... THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
For rainy and cold days such as todays, I love to wear my cozy sweaters and this one is my absolute favorite. I believe that everyone has few favorite pieces that make their wardrobe, for me this is one of them... I can't describe how much I LOVE this sweater. I like to wear it every chance I get, and today was perfect. For me, there is nothing better than good desert and great conversation in company of my bf on such a dull day. I had a lovely evening and it stopped raining, hopefully tomorrow brings some sun :)
