Another Wardrobe Staple…

Hello Darlings,
Well I am really excited to share with you my new purchase... While some thought it was a fancy new purse and other thought it was a pair of latest heels. But,it's not... :P It is much more simple than that.
Wardrobe Staple....
However, I am a student... and my purchase is nothing fancy or extravagant but yet another wardrobe staple.... A Little Leather Jacket.Although it took a while to get used to an idea of loving leather jacket - because of ethical reasons. I am finally on board with the trend.

I knew from the start that I was not going for the " cool/grungy look" ( I don't know how else to describe it) that is seen on so many models...and therefore did not want a typical bomber. I wanted to make sure that I personalize this trend rather than just following it... simple, feminine and beautifully detailed was what I needed. But I realized that when you know exactly what you want....it is usually impossible to find.
The task of finding a jacket that was " me" was impossible(months) until I was introduced to Mackage...and from there it was easy and beautiful journey of selecting an appropriate style and correct size. ( I sized up from XXS to S) Another thing that I love is Mackage being Canadian brand, kind of like Soia&Kyo( I love their jackets). I am convinced that Canadians make the best jackets...only because we know how important it is to stay warm during our brutal winters. It's not only about looking awesome but also preventing frost bite ... hehe P

I love how this jacket is classic but still contemporary with beautiful feminine detailing. I must admit - I fell in love with the balloon sleeves( they are so unique) and that's why I got it. The quality of leather is phenomenal - durable, yet buttery soft.
I would strongly recommend Mackage. Their products are " detailed to perfection" and the quality is absolutely phenomenal. I am in love.
My second purchase was the perfectly sheer and sequenced Alice +Olivia top... I love how wearable it is.I really like that I could easily wear it going out for that subtle sexy look or pair it wish my cashmere cardi for an everyday look with a little sparkle.

This was definately my biggest purchase this year....for now. I would say an investment.But I am really excited about it... it's almost silly. What do you think is worth investing it? Would purse or shoes be a better idea? What was your latest investment? I love hearing from you...especially when you express your opinions.
Well, it is Monday again... and my mid-terms are getting closer and closer. It means that I need to put my thinking cap on and become a hermit...Only I wish it was that easy.
