Just wanted to say a quick hello, so " HELLO" ( lol).
I wanted to make a random post, since only today have I realized that I have an addictive personality.... normal or not :D
I have a very addictive personality, meaning that once I love something I will love it until I get bored or sick of it... that sounds pretty mean, lol. This is especially the case when it comes to material things, food, and especially going out places.... right now, I am obsessed with this little European cafe that is right on the shore of Lake Ontario and has a stunning view of the downtown... and I've gone there about three times this week.... :S ( uggh)
So, I decided to make a list of my top ten addictions:
This purchase satisfied my complete need for Minnetonka Boots ... and if you used this code you get 10% off at the Minnetonka Moccasin Shop( click on the link) - TAKE10
Now it's a matter of waiting for them to come in the mail ...
- Minnetonka Hi Top Back Zip Boot - $44.95
P.S. OOOh YEa... Today, I am going to a football game with my boyfriend ... so I am really excited. Since him and I usually go to hockey games only ... I am a little unsure about this game ....but it's a new experience and I love sports :) So, I'll update you on how that goes ... hehe :P
- Godiva Chocolate .... I have to have it every week :)
- Starbucks Mocha ... this is how I start my day
-Chanel and Dior make up .... the only kind I wear and obsessive buy
- A cafe on the shore of Ontario ... I go there couple time a week
- Michael Kors shoes.... 90% of my foot wear is from him
- Buying Books... I love collecting books and of course, reading them.
- Cashmere ... I love it, now all my sweaters have to be cashmere... hehe ( jking)
- Watching "Pretty Woman " and " Dirty Dancing"... I re- watch them religiously.
- Going to musicals and ballet shows.... I "drag" ( no, he actually enjoys them) my boyfriend to every single one that is out there
- Decorating my room .... I've been doing it for two month and it's still a complete mess.
dirty habits + guilty pleasure = addictions of the moment :)
So here is my question.... DO YOU HAVE AN OBSESSION/ADDICTION/HABIT/ THAT YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT ? please do share ... I'll make me feel more normal because I have so many ( I really should stop making fun of myself, hehe)
I decided to post couple of pics. from my last two outfits .... Plus, I would like to introduce you to my baby ( the fluff ball on the pics, lol)... he's an English Cocker Spaniel who's in a bad need of a haircut ( hehe)... ooh yea, and his name is Johnny :) ....
I am wearing:
Gap Organic Cotton Tee
Abercrombie & Fitch Skinnies in Grey
Michael Kors Platforms
Michael Kors purse
Liz Claiborne Belt
OOh yea... and here are my today's purchases.
I've been obsessing about Juicy Couture Mary Jane's for forever now... today I stumbled upon this pair and could not resist, plus they were on sale ( huge plus) and I just imaged how cute they could look with my Cashmere dress.... I think I am developing an addiction for Juicy Couture ( but not their track suits) now ... oooo nooo
- Juicy Couture Mary Jane's - $318, on sale for $ 118

SORRY for sounding so hyper, I an running on sugar and caffeine.
I think it's time for me to come out ...... and.... admit ... that I have a HUGE obsession with scarves. I can't stop buying them and they are my fav. accessories for winter and fall. So I though that it would be FUN to share with you my favorite ways to wear them .... FUN FUN FUN :) I decided to do a autumn inspired post because I can't contain my excitement for the fall season.... especially now that I've received most of my clothes in the mail and it all fits perfectly... YAY .... can't wait to for you too see it after it comes back from dry cleaning :)
I am wearing:
French Connection Linen Scarf
BCBG MAX Azria Tuxedo Blazer
Talula Babaton Cotton Shirt from Aritzia
Corpus Alpha in Cracked,
Mimosa Black Lather Booties
Gap Leather Purse
My favorite way of wearing a scarf is in a European Loop - which is the easiest and quickest.
European Loop
- Fold the scarf and let it dangle around your neck then take one side and bringing trough the loop and ta taaa .... you're done.
Twice Round Ascot
It's perfect to keep yourself warm
Fake Knot
Decorative way and would also be pretty with a silk scarf.
- All you do is make a knot on one side and bring the end of the other side through the knot.
Neck Wrap
My favorite way to wear with a bulky sweater
- Cross over the sides twice and then bring the end to the back and create a simple know or like me let it hang loose.
Hope you had fun, lol :)
P.S. I am not sure what is going on with blogger but my Fav. Blog links keep on disappearing from time to time .... I am really sorry :)
Hey Everyone,
I am so sorry for the lack of posts and comments... But I have a very good " excuse". This was the last long weekend before university starts again and trust me I was determined to make the best out of it. So little time so much to do.... SO HERE WE GO ...
Friday Morning and Afternoon = As my obsessive/ compulsive shopping continues .... I spent the morning shopping online( Bluefly once again, hehe). Later on in the afternoon, I went shopping with my mommy ( she's the greatest) and was determined to find myself a purse (since I've been looking for one for forever, literally). As my fellow blogger and a Canadian,Ashleigh suggest that I should check out Marc by Marc Jacobs purses at Holt's ( similar to Barney's and Saks) - so I was on a mission to find a leather purse that I could use both daily and for uni. to carry my laptop. Although, I really did like the look M. J's purses and how much room they offered... they seemed to weight a ton.So in misery and disappointment I left empty handed... Until... I decided to stop at Gap to pick up some tee's ... and there it was - my perfect match. Weird, I now I would never have though that I would find a purse in Gap but it was very light and roomy and the quality was phenomenal and best of all it was only $220 - so I took the step and bought it. I also bought some skin care stuff from Sephora, and a few tees from Gap and a totally awesome scarf from French Connection ... and Ed Hardy Dress.
I would like to introduce you to The Purse - you will see it all the time from now on, and that is a promise :D ( I know... I am such a nerd)
Here it is: TA - TA
Ed Hardy Dress
Michael Kors Platforms
Gap Purse
Another thing.... I am not used to wearing such flashy and short things such as this Ed Hardy Dress, WHAT DO YOU THINK ( honestly, pretty plz)
Here's what I picked up from Bluefly:
Following the advise from a fellow blogger, the lovely Couture Carrie I decided to pick up a pair of black J Brand Skinnies.... A girl can't have too many pairs of jeans.
J Brand Black Stretch Slim Pencil Leg Jeans
And I could not resist picking up a simple cashmere dress.... and the price made the purchase even sweeter.
Hayden Cashmere Sweater Dress
Now it is a matter of patiently waiting to receive my shipments
... can't wait to share it with you :)
I would also like to thank my lovely readers for the comments and suggestions..... I really enjoy reading them...
SO PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO STATE YOUR HONEST OPINION ... ( no worries, you won't hurt my feelings if it is negative - but instead I will try and improve) ...
LOTS OF LOVE, MARTA ( and that is my real name :P)
The rest of the weekend I spent at the cottage with my " boy- toy"( hehe) and just literally got home .... So I hope you forgive me for the lack of commitment :)
With simple sweaters and tees made of cotton and wool, Gap has become one my favorites for this season. I love their simplicity and the variety of staple pieces that they offer and not to forget ... how comfortable and soft it is. I never thought that I would wear Gap past the age of 13 but history repeats itself... and I find myself visiting Gap at every opportunity I get. In addition to my growing collection of Gap items, I just purchased this super soft cotton/cashmere blend sweater with cute little buttons of the shoulder and yellow stripes. Another purchase was an American Apparel bandage skirt which was crucial addition to my closet.
Both of these pieces can be easy worn in the fall time with a trench coat, thick tights and cute flats for a casual look( perfect for uni.) or vampy heels for a little va va voom ....
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BRAND?
P.S. I hope you all enjoy your weekend :)
Finding a blazer that would work for breathy summer nights and cool fall days was quite a challenge for me. I've always loved wearing blazers, but for formal occasions. However, only this season did I get used to an idea of combining it with the casual wear. I was looking for something formfitting but loose, in a new tuxedo style with many buttons. I love how this fall's runways were packed with all kinds of blazers, which offered great variety - meaning that you can't go wrong when choosing one.
- BCBG Tuxedo Blazer
- Gap Organic Cotton V-Neck Tee
- Abercrombie & Fitch Denim Shorts
- Michael Kors Platforms,
- Oivia Dove Necklace by Kimberly Baker Jewelry
- The large ring is a family jewel
