Hello Darlings,

To say that I am exhausted would be an understatement. With long days filled with long hours, I promise that the world of racing is no glamorous business. It is hard work with brutal levels of commitment.

Despite minor blips in the trip, I feel very lucky to be at the Grand Prix and have the chance to experience this phenomenal event. For the past few days, I’ve had the opportunity to wander the streets of Old Montreal, take extra long lunches in the company of a good book, and even lounge by the pool.

Most importantly, I am proud to announce that I can now change a tire on a race car—a skill picked up at the Crescent Street Festival during the pit stop challenge. I assure you, it is no small task!

On Friday, I had the chance to check out the F1 practice session, which was deafening. The F1 cars are unbearably loud, and I wish someone would have mentioned that earplugs are a necessity.

As for wardrobe, I knew that comfort had to be prioritized over fashion, but casual did not quite suit the occasion. I settled on wearing a classic pair of shorts with a silk blouse. As for heels, they are a major faux-pas at the race track. Don’t do it! Flats or flat sandals are the best bet.

I am wearing:
♥ Talula Babaton Silk Blouse
♥ Talula Babaton Shorts
♥ Wilfred Leather Belt
♥ Michael Kors Wacth
♥ Repetto “Rose Amour” Ballet Flats
♥ 3.1 Phillip Lim Simon Sunnies
♥ Z Spoke by Zac Posen Purse

Following a million sunscreen reapplications, it was time for dinner. The “Cafeteria” on Saint Laurent Street offered a perfect mellow environment. With a cozy setting and a familiar dish, mac and cheese, it was the best way to wind down after a stressful day. Koko at Opus Hotel was the evening’s destination. Long nights out after long days can be a strain on the agenda, so we made a brief stop by before going back to the hotel to recover.

Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Day!!!

With Love…

Marta
