In the midst of studying, I constantly remind myself to take the time to relax and indulge just a little. This amazing program focuses on funding leading-edge research for women's cancers, specifically breast, cervical, ovarian and uterine. Why does it take so long to discover Confidence….
As I was trying to achieve perfectly aligned pig-tails…not too high, not too low, not too perky, but just right pig-tails, I was wondering why I wouldn’t do this when I was 16, but I do now that I am 21. Why is it that when you’re in your twenties that you begin to realize at how short life is and that not doing what you want sounds like a pretty silly idea? Yes, pig-tails are a step towards a 16 going on 22 direction, but after years of just feeling intimidated, the feeling of being able to do what you want is quite liberating. The pig-tails are not the moral of the story, I promise : P
I was just wondering about confidence and self-esteem. How come it takes us so long to realize how awesome we really are? All those years wasted feeling totally self-conscious and wanting to be in another body, one that is more “perfect”.

I am FREE AT LAST!!! YAY! Done my exams and just taking it easy for the next two or three weeks and then only time will tell! I am not the one who handles doing nothing very well, I need something do to...maybe I'm a stress-addict 
But, that is a whole different topic to explore at another time as for today I just wanted to share a quick outfit!
By the way, I must thank everyone for taking the time to tell me a little about yourselves. It is always a pleasure to get to know a little about you darlings So thank you!

I apologize for the lack of posts, I am still recovering and studying for my two finals, which are coming up this week. On the bright side, I am almost done…well, at least for the time being This hopefully will give me enough time to finally finish the “mission post” (yes, I am still sticking to the promise, which makes it that much more exciting to post about), the vlog, and of course the store. I am really excited for all of them!
The weather is continuously improving, and this year around we were blessed with many sunny and warm days. I might add, this is quite rare for Canada; it snows here in April! With the sunny weather comes the need for all things short and beautiful
Belated Valentine….

Saint Valentine’s Day, although I do not love it nor hate it, I think that it is one day when you’re totally expected to be overtly cheesy. I do not like the idea of expecting grand romantic gestures from your sweetheart because that is what the rest of the world is doing. However, I do think that Valentine’s Day is awesome, as it presents an opportunity for couples to spend that extra time together and do something that is more “special”.
Romance…sure! But I still prefer the idea of fun over the idea of total lovey-dovey, overly-cheesy romance...

I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend…mine was actually quite relaxing. On Friday, Andrew and I attended a chocolate soiree (yup, our friends are amazing hosts). As usual, I was in a dilemma over everything: the shoes, the outfit, and the accessories.
