Hello Darlings,
In the midst of academic chaos, it is always wonderful to find the time to relax and unwind. Regardless of how much I adore my field of study, it does get overwhelming and frustrating at times. I am sure that every single one of us has been or is in such a situation.I don't have much time on my hands and every day seems to be short on hours, so when it comes to down time I prefer to spend it at home with my family or in the company of my closest friends. It is always wonderful to have a solid support system and those that genuinely care.
However, there are times when one just wants to be alone, in such cases there are a few places/activities that I find myself doing. Since I've received quite a few requests for my favorite "alone-time" activities, I've decided to share my favorite eight...

Amongst all things fun and relaxing, I just had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday in the company of friends and family this past weekend. It was a perfect way to wrap up a wonderful summer and spend much needed quality time with my loved ones.

Whirlpool of unexpected…

The past month or so has been a whirlpool of unexpected and life changing events. Although I was really hoping to avoid addressing this topic, I realized that it is best to just mention it and leave it at that. I know that some of you have figured it out...
...and in fact, Andrew and I did break up some time ago. People change and grow apart, but Andrew and I will continue to stay best friends.With respect towards Andrew and myself, I will not be answering questions on formingspring or through e-mail in regards to this. I would like to thank everyone for all of the support during this difficult time. However, I must add that I am content and happy in my current position
Little Moments…
Hello Darlings,
Today was quite beautiful and relaxing.I've been spending lots of time with my parents and just trying to take it one day at a time. Thank you so much for the beautiful e-mails and messages, they have truly warmed my heart and placed a smile on my face. I wish I could say that I am fine, but in reality I am quite dazed. However, I am always an optimist. I think that life truly is beautiful and joyful, if you take the time to see it. Therefore, I will be taking the time to focus on myself as this has been a very difficult year.
On a happier note, I am proud to say that today was quite active.

When in doubt and feeling down.... just go shopping! This has been my motto for the past couple of days. During the time when I am feeling down, I always find joy in a shopping mall. Retail Therapy WORKS!
I don't care what people say, but the best way to get away from things is by either literary getting away (travel) or by escaping to the mall. There are times when a girl just needs to indulge and treat herself to a new purchase. But since,I've been stressing like crazy... I ended up with a hefty bag of goodies from Aritzia and a new pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer's.
Summer Getaways…

First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts. I've been having a writer's block, trying to stay on top of my course work, and I am also away at the cottage. This weekend is Victoria day in Canada and it's a long weekend. So, Happy May 24 to my fellow Canadians!!!
Andrew and I decided to spend some times at the cottage with the friends to just relax and have some fun.
Technologically Challenged…

It has been a crazy busy week as I've decided to take up a summer course on Romantic art, since I am one of those people who just can't relax and needs to have a full plate of things. Plus, the accident was not exactly a cherry on top of a cake when you're a 4th year university student but with all things suck-y, I am always up for a challenge 
Besides, the heavy workload, trying to hunt down a perfect pair of sandals, I've been tackling a technological challenge: an Iphone!!! Me+technology=Disaster.
