Toronto Must-Sees….in my opinion that is!

Hello Darlings,

This is why Toronto is the simply the best, at least in my mind!

The variety of people and neighborhoods that it offers is never ending, and exploring something new and fun is always an option. Some people worship NYC, Paris, London and Milan as the most chic and fabulous places on Earth. I don’t disagree on that point, but I will be honest: there’s not a single city that I love more than Toronto!

I love everything about it, including how friendly people are. I love our National Ballet and Opera, our Royal Ontario Museum, our Art Gallery of Ontario, Casa Loma and our CN Tower. I love Toronto fashion week and alternative fashion week I love everything that comes with awesome city.

Spring is on my mind…

Hello Darlings

As I am sitting here, trying to study for my French midterm and finish my architecture analysis, the sunlight is flooding my room. I can’t believe that spring is just around the corner, lectures are almost done,exams are a month away, and Toronto fashion week is in couple of weeks, and my closet needs a complete overhaul. So much to do and so much to see, it is overwhelming but exciting at the same time.

Speaking of closets, I’ve received quite a few requests for a vlog/closet video and although I am intimidated by the idea, I’ve decided to give it a try. When I have a spare minute, I will create a video of my closet and share with you some of my favorite spring items. So that is coming up in a little bit! I am pretty shy in person and this is a huge step for me.. *blush blush*

Leafs Nation…

I just came in from NHL hockey game, Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Tampa Bay Lightning...which is of course, a ton of fun every time I go. Lose or Win, a good doze of Canadian beer and a great company makes for a hell of an awesome game

Silk Polka Dots…

Hello Darlings,

Polka dots were seen all over Marni, Michael Kors and House of Holland Spring 09 runways, which to certain degree inspired me to take a chance and once again step out of my comfort zone. Now that Ive embraced this whimsical 50's retro look... the only trick is to wear the pattern in proportion to you body.

Well, I was never the girl to like polka dots...until recently. I've had this beautiful chiffon polka dot top for few years now, but never really liked to wear it.

But this summer something in me embraced the dotty situation and decided to give it a try... first by pairing it with slouchy Wang khakis (click here to check it out) and today with a simple pair of skinnies and a bomber.

I love how formfitting this top is and the cute little ruffles that remind me of my old ballet tutu's. It is so perfectly girly and elegant that it went from being an outcast to a total favorite. I also think that this top makes any outfit date perfect... which is exactly where I wore it yesterday evening... for a date with Andrew

Underneath it all…

Hello Darlings,
After few hours of French and three shots of espresso ( I love espresso) and 25 pages of Vanity Fair... I ventured out for some fresh air and ended up at my favorite shopping mall. It was exactly 4:30 pm and the mall was still nearly empty... happy joy joy!!! I love shopping when everyone is busy...

Since it was a pretty casual day, I chose a pretty casual outfit. Nothing complicated but rather simple in blacks and whites. I can never get bored of black and white combination...

Ever since my Members Only bomber came in I can't stop wearing it, it is a perfect summer substitute for my favorite Mackage Leather Jacket. Not only is it light, but also water-prof making it ideal for Canadian unexpected weather.

Anyways, back to shopping....

I was then joined by my mommy for some innocent mother-daughter time while shopping. Honestly with sales like these it is impossible to avoid malls. All you see is SALE SALE SALE in windows of your favorite stores. After an hour or two... I found two of the most perfect bralets and an ideal sheer tee. Well, I can hardly call them finds... because I had my eye set on them for a while now The SALE part sealed the deal!

Underneath it all

I've finally grown more comfortable with semi-sheer... and I am finally ready to debut my pretty bra collection. Honestly, with bras that they make today it is a crime to keep them all to yourself. A little peek here and there is what these beauties deserve.

I recommend D&G, they are exquisite. Pricey but when on sale they are impossible not to buy.Tasteful and simple, they are perfect for semi-sheer tops or just to keep a secret underneath it all. And most of all ladies, they are also very comfortable... none of that "lacy-discomfort".

Having a beautiful little secret underneath it all is a guilty pleasure of most women. My only problem is the price of these little pleasures.

Is lingerie your guilty pleasure??? Do you think that it is worth "splurging" on it??? What is your spending limit on lingerie???

Personally, I prefer to buy it on sale otherwise spending so much on so little is a bit of out my reach.However, it does make a perfect gift from the special someone... * Hint hint, nudge nudge to male readers* ( hehe)

Coffee Run…

Hello Darlings,

Today consisted of doctor appointments, shopping and coffee runs... and here's an outfit that got me through this day

You all know my theory of getting dressed for everyday... simple. Boy-o-boy do I love simplicity in every aspect of my life...especially when it comes to getting dressed. I think that wardrobe is one thing that should be simple and uncomplicated and getting dressed should be a pleasurable and not nerve wrecking.

Crisp…

Hello Darlings,

Although playing dress-up is soooo much fun... sometimes you're just not in the mood for it. That's is exactly what happened to me on Saturday evening. Andrew and I were going to a farewell party in Yorkville and I was dying to wear my Armani Exchange Dress.But in a last minute I just couldn't bear the thought of wearing a dress.

I was craving for something simple, detailed and sensual. I wanted an understated look, one that I could just relax in, rather than worry if my dress is flying up ( it was a windy night). So this is what I settled for...

I wore two of my latest purchases... my new Susana Monaco top and a new pair of J Brand jeans. When I first ordered this top I thought that it will be perfect for everyday, just another top to run errands in. Boy was I wrong... it is everything but simple.The fit is amazingly flattering and cut is simple but risque.The color is crisp and gentle and the material is super soft. I am definitely looking to pick up few more things from Susana Monaco collection.

As for the J Brand Jeans well they are perfect as always. I am huge fan of their jeans. The fit is always very flattering and the quality is amazing. I would strongly recommend them, they are definitely worth every penny.

♥ The color of the lip gloss is absolutely perfect. It is bright but now overwhelming , it's perfect for the summer time.
♥ I am so in love with this polish. It looks amazing both on hands and feet and gives that perfect pop of color. Try it !!!

Well, I am off to do more shopping. It is Andrew's birthday tomorrow and I as always waited until last minute to pick up his gift. At least, I know exactly what I am getting him...
