Hello Darlings, A quote cannot be anymore true that the one said by an architecture critic Paul Goldberger, “New York remains what it has always been: a city of ebb and flow, a city of constant shifts of population and economics, a city of virtually no rest. It is harsh, dirty, and dangerous, it is whimsical and fanciful, it is beautiful and soaring – it is not one or another of these things but all of them, all at once, and to fail to accept this paradox is to deny the reality of city existence.”
One cannot describe the city as complex in structure as it is in its society as well as Goldberger did . New York city is a love and hate affair for many people! With every return to the city you’re caught off guard by the pleasant and not so pleasant surprises. You love it for its careless character and constant motion and yet hate it for its rough and blunt expressions of people and surroundings. It is a city of contradictions that regardless of what you feel towards, you come to admire over the course of time!
