Hello Darlings, Planning the perfect New Year’s Eve celebration is always stressful. There’s just so much pressure to have a fabulous night since in the days leading up to the big night inevitably so many people ask about your plans, and for the days after everyone asks what you did!

Happy to have positive memories from last year – and while I recall no exception in terms of stress – I did have a fabulous night enjoying a scrumptious lobster under a starry warm sky in South Miami. What a difference a year makes, as I won’t be celebrating some place tropical, but instead will be staying local since the past few months have been travel overload. And for the first time ever, I am planning to play “happy host” and have friends over to my new place for a little pre -New Year’s Eve cocktail party and then for an adventure!

A big thanks for inspiring my plans goes to Pinnacle Vodka, who sent me the most amazing New Year’s Eve-inspired gift package including three bottles of their new Pinnacle Whipped Cream flavored vodka! Now 24, I am just a social drinker meaning that I love having one or two cocktails at parties or on a girls night out. Vodka based cocktails are my favorites, since I prefer the taste and how I feel after drinking, so this gift basket certainly came to a good home!

I was also quite happy to find that the Pinnacle Vodkas facebook page has numerous few New Year’s Even inspired cocktail recipes – so for my domestic soiree also now has a theme to sample all-things vodka! And to hone my skills, I’ve actually already sampled a few including The Reindeer Flight (Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, Hazelnut Liqueur, and hot chocolate), and Pinnacle Snowflake (Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, Creme de Cocoa, Peppermint Extract) and they are both awesome!
The photos are of me practicing to make The Reindeer Flight. It was my first time trying French made Pinnacle Vodka, and it’s so yummy! It has a clean and smooth taste when mixed. As said, mine arrived as a treat from Pinnacle Vodka, but I was shocked to find out it’s only $25 for a bottle at the liquor store.

Pinnacle Vodka also has an amazing treat for one lucky With Love Gabrielle reader to receive a PINNACLE WHIPPED VODKA PRESENTS: “START 2013 ON TOP!” NEW YEAR’S EVE GIFT PACK (value of $300), including:
• 2 bottles of Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
• Pinnacle Whipped NYE cocktail recipes on USB
• $15 iTunes gift card
• 4 Pottery Barn martini glasses
• Martini shaker
• $150.00 shopping gift card
• Benefits Beauty Kit (valued at $50.00)
With Love…
Marta

My favourite New Year’s Eve memory is when I watched Ratatouille for the first time and fell in love with French cooking
It continued with watching reruns of French Food at Home on the Canadian Food Network, watching Julie and Julia for the first time on New Year’s Eve. It also led to an interest in learning more about French liqueurs and making mixed drinks with them. Pinnacle Vodka sounds like a perfect vodka to use for mixed drinks (especially my favourite, Cranberry Vodka).
Hi Julie,
Tonight was my first time trying Pinnacle and it’s really yummy. I usually drink Grey Goose but from what I can tell so far Pinnacle is better, which is big for me since I am picky about the taste of most vodka.
Sounds yummy too about french liqueurs! Maybe that’s next for me
Hope you are having a fun holiday!
Best wishes,
Marta
Yum yum!! Nice giveaway! Thanks all!
Thanks Heather.
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
Best wishes,
Marta
Fantastic, never heard of this before…it sounds wonderful
Hi Maureen,
Yes, I love it. Tonight was my first time trying it, and it’s yummy. I was always a Grey Goose girl, but from what I can tell so far, Pinnacle tastes better
Thanks for the holiday wishes.
Marta

I have never heard of this vodka before. Sounds great! I really want to try making the Reindeer Flight!!
Wow you’re up early Sandy!
Yes, Pinnacle is yummy. I hadn’t heard of it before either, but it’s amazing especially when mixed with hot chocolate or chocolate milk
Hope you are enjoying the holidays.
Best wishes,
Marta
I know…I was a rooster this morning! LOL. I really hope I have the chance to play hostess and make yummy Pinnacle cocktails for my friends and family. Wishing you a very Happy New Year! Thanks for having such wonderful contests.
That looks delicious, can’t believe I’ve never heard of this particular brand.
Hi Aaron,
Me too about never hearing about Pinnacle before, but I was so happy last night sampling it for the first time. I’ve always been a Grey Goose fan, but Pinnacle is actually better! Mixing with chocolate milk is so yummy
Hope you are enjoying your holidays.
Best wishes,
Marta
