Finishing Touches…
Hello Darlings,
As we all know a perfect accessory can either make or break an outfit! With right accessories you can make a simple LBD look extraordinary.... OR simply tacky! Well, what if accessories are not the only thing that can make or break an outfit? What if every detail that goes into your look matters? What if every little thought that you put into getting ready is what "distinguishes you from the pack" ?..... Which comes down to: DO DETAILS MATTER?
Although this is a personal blog and I just rant about my random thoughts, I am very eager and interested in hearing yours. So please do not hesitate to agree or disagree! But at the same time, I would like to add that in no way do I apply my views to every individual, but only to myself.... I figured that I should state this before sharing my opinion on this topic

Today was quite beautiful and relaxing.I've been spending lots of time with my parents and just trying to take it one day at a time. Thank you so much for the beautiful e-mails and messages, they have truly warmed my heart and placed a smile on my face. I wish I could say that I am fine, but in reality I am quite dazed. However, I am always an optimist. I think that life truly is beautiful and joyful, if you take the time to see it. Therefore, I will be taking the time to focus on myself as this has been a very difficult year.
On a happier note, I am proud to say that today was quite active.

I am writing this post over a glass of Shiraz while listening to "Claire de Lune" by Debussy and trying to recount the countless memories that I have shared with my grandpa, who passed away yesterday. With the heartbreak comes strength, minor understanding of life and the importance of your actions. Although I am grieving, I have come to realize the importance of family and the incredible gift that it is.Don't ever take it for granted. Therefore, I would like to dedicate this post to family! Not just mine but every family...
We don't get to pick them, we don't even like them sometimes...but at the end of the day, family is all that we have!!! Therefore, it is my wish that every person that reads this post....gives a hug to any family member and share how much they love them. Life is too short to hold it back!I just wanted to make a quick note to explain my absence from the blog-sphere. When in doubt and feeling down.... just go shopping! This has been my motto for the past couple of days. During the time when I am feeling down, I always find joy in a shopping mall. Retail Therapy WORKS!
I don't care what people say, but the best way to get away from things is by either literary getting away (travel) or by escaping to the mall. There are times when a girl just needs to indulge and treat herself to a new purchase. But since,I've been stressing like crazy... I ended up with a hefty bag of goodies from Aritzia and a new pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer's.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. I know that I've been inconsistent with my posting and that's quite annoying. However, I must admit that I've been struggling with a writers block (so any suggestions would be much appreciated) as well as I am trying to finish my essay and study for the final which are coming up this week. My sincerest apologies! But for now onto a post that I had a lot of fun writing up....
Being young is a journey itself! However being young, out of school and ready to look for a job is a journey and a half. My point is, being young is full of thrilling adventures and among them is one called becoming a young professional.
Since, I’ve received a number of fantastic e-mails in regards to this topic; I decided to create a post! I am in the same boat, so it took me some time to research the topic and conclude that BORING is NOT the solution!
