Today was a rainy day and it seemed like every girl from the age of 2 to 202 was wearing rubber rain boots. WHY? I just don't understand why people wear rubber rain boots as a fashion statement...even if it is not raining. I am pretty sure that rain boots are becoming the new Uggs, since I've also seen them being worn in the winter time. What is it about rain boots that women love so much?
Today as I was doing some "casual shopping" (shopping without a purpose, except just to buy something) I saw three women arguing over a pair of $150 Juicy Couture rain boots.... Why would 20 year old women argue over a pair of shoes? I meant sure you want them, but come on it is not the end of the world. Not only did I realize how much women love rain boots but also the price tag that designers put on them... Why does rubber cost $150? sure they are "designer" but it's like paying $100 dollar for a rubber duck only because it is designer... CRAZY I would say!!!
SO WHAT IS IT WITH WOMEN AND RAIN BOOTS????
I am not criticizing or passing judgments, I am just strictly curious. I do understand that having wet feet sucks, but there are so many different styles to resort to without having to wear rubber, pink, butterfly boots. I understand if you live out in the country and concurring mud, then rain boots are practical and cute way to do it. But if you're in a city and walking on the side walk, then usually there is no mud to concur. Plus, do you wear your rain boots once you're indoors, lets say in an office building, a coffee shop, a restaurant, a lecture hall, a mall??? or Do you switch foot wear???
I think that the only place that I would wear rain boots is :
♥ waking my dog when it is pouring and muddy, but even then I usually wear leather water-prof running shoes.
♥I am out in the country and mud is unavoidable.
♥At the cottage and out for a walk during of after the rain.
I don't see why grown women wear rubber shoes to walk from a car into a mall.... I just don't get it. But then again I don't understand why people love Uggs. Are rain boots even comfortable to wear???

As for me, my rain/winter boots are my Michael Kors duck boots ... I love them because they are so uniquely "ugly".... nothing about them is cute or pretty, but I absolutely adore them. I love because they are " ugly", water-proff; warm and comfortable.
It's been raining all day and although I don't quite like the rain, I was excited to take out my duck boots. I wear them every chance I have....

Hello Darlings,
The weather has been beautiful and I've been spending a lot of my time in my favorite park with my beloved dog, Johnny. Nothing beats a long walk in the evening right before bed or a quick walk in the morning to start your day.
As for the outfits, well I still think that it is important to look cute even if you're just visiting a near by park.However comfort is essential- I tend to play around with my dog .
I opted to wear my new Diesel tee that I just ordered from Ssense.com with a pair of shorts, a light jacket, sneakers, and a purse that would fit everything ( water, leash, bags, toys, etc). Both cute and practical.

During hot summer days, it is nearly impossible to stay at home...all you want to do is be outside.
The weather was beautiful... well a bit hot, +30c to be exact.. and I was in the best mood ( but then again I always am). Perfect time to run some errands, do mani/pedi, grab some gelato with mommy, grab some Chinese food for dinner and go for a lovely walk in the park once the sun went down.Living in a large city that never sleeps it is nice to get away into a park for some down time...
During weather like this it is nearly impossible to wear dark skinnies (which I love sooo dearly), so I've turned to my newly favorite Wang khakis. And once again, I am combining feminine and masculine. I'm not quite sure why I love these opposites? But I do!!!

Good Morning Darlings,
Every morning as I get dressed, I reach for things that are more simple and delicate, but with a boyish touch. During the summer months in feels wrong to wear complicated and dramatic clothe; to wear a ton of make up; and to spend hours on hair.
All I want is extreme simplicity...Not only in appearance but also in esthetic of appearance.
I'm continuously inspired by the way men wear their clothe... and their easy and effortless approach to getting dressed. Observing the way Andrew gets dressed made me realize that the less thought you put into clothe, the better... when things come naturally it always looks effortless and great.
Men usually do not obsess about they way they look and usually do not take hours to get ready. But in the end they always end up looking adorable. Just think about the idea behind a man's suit: it is simple, easy, and absolutely perfect. No hassle, no stress, it is a matter of changing shirts and ties... and once in a white a suit
This easy approach to life and fashion made me fall in love with menswear...anything with a boyish accent catches my attention.
A combination of masculine and feminine became my latest obsession.
OBSESSING.
As for today's look well, my obsession continues...I paired my distressed Abercrombie&Fitch jeans with a delicate semi-sheer top from Club Monaco and topped it all off with my new Members Only bomber.
Simple, comfortable and most importantly I feel great in in.
As for make-up only a touch of mascara and berry lip gloss... I refuse to wear any cover up in crazy hot weather. Eek, I would feel like I am melting away.
Well off I go...
I've got a million things to do, including finding a beginners book to French grammar. Yup, knowing French/German is part of my specialist.

Hello Darlings,
The weather has been amazing... and I've been spending most of my time outside. Nothing beats a scenic walk along the shores of Lake Ontario.
As for today's outfit... well,I've finally had a chance to wear my Alexander Wang for Gap khakis and I love them even more now. They are soooooo comfortable
These pants are perfect for the summer time... light, loose, and simple.Overall, a perfect addition to my wardrobe. Although they are shown as being full lenght in the ad as well as on the Gap site, in reality they are cuffed and stitched up (just they way the look on my photos). Gap.com also described them as high-waist.. but they are not, they actually sit pretty low-at least that's the way they fit me.
You guys are definitely going to be seeing these babies a lot... they are the most comfortable pants I own. Plus, they are so easy to wear and to dress up or down.

As for the rest of the collection, well I tried on a pair of pants and a dress by Vera Cava and although I loved them... I didn't feel like they would suit my personal style.
What do you think? Am I wrong, do they suit me?
I must admit that the collection is well thought out and the quality is amazing. The pieces are bound to become summer essentials. Absolutely love them! But then again simplicity is what I love. This collection is worth checking out!!!
P.S.The Alexander Wang jackets were also super cute but they did not have my size. As for Albertus Swanepoel hats, well I couldn't find them in the store.
As for now I am off to pack for the weekend at the cottage... with this weather outside I just can't wait to relax on the beach with great company.

Well, today was another day spent shopping with my mommy. Yup, my mommy and Andrew are the only people I shop with. After my yet another meeting(yup, I have bazillion meetings) my mommy picked me up so that I could check out Gap's Designer Editions. Lucky, I managed to pick up a pair of Alexander Wang khakis and they are perfection...
