Hello Darlings, One of my new year resolutions is to take a better care of my body and mind, so I recently switched my daily skin care routine to use organic products by KORRES.

Herbal Remedies to Natural Products KORRES is a Greek skincare brand with over 400 natural or certified organic products. It was founded in 1996 by George Korres out of Athens’ oldest homoeopathic pharmacy. Their formulas are considered to be amongst the most environmentally friendly and skin-compatible. This is accomplished by avoiding synthetic compounds such as (which are found in most skin care products ):
petroleum derivatives such as mineral oils
silicones - which are synthetic and non-biodegradable
propylene glycol - which is linked to a number of allergies
ethanolamines - which are linked to skin irritations.

As I’ve always been an avid label checker, this brand really does what it says. So far I have seen great improvements in my skin and knowing that the line is as “clean” as possible gives me a peace of mind. My mother raised me to believe that less is more, which could explain why I use very few products. Along with my regular sunscreen from Clarins, the following are the products that I have been using for the past month or so:

Wild Rose Face and Eye Serum
- A natural source of vitamin C, wild rose has shown the ability to repair fine lines and wrinkles, imperfections, and skin discolorations. Rich in linoleic and linolenic acid, wild rose oil has healing, moisturising, and softening properties and forms a protective film on the skin that helps cell regeneration and improves the texture of the epidermis
Evening Primrose Eye Cream
- When taken as a supplement, evening primrose allows the body to use water five times more effectively. Evening primrose extract, which, in conjunction with vitamin K1 and ruscus, promotes blood microcirculation, illuminating the under-eye area and erases dark circles. Evening primrose also stimulates collagen synthesis while plumping fine lines around the delicate eye area.
Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser
- Milk proteins nourish and moisturise skin while providing essential amino acids.
With Love…
Marta

It is true, this line is excellent. I have been using Korres’s Quercetin @ Oak antiaging @ antiwrinkle eye cream and night cream more than a month and result is obvious. Love it.
That’s great to hear that you also like their products
Oh my goodness, this is so coincidental. I just ordered a face set from a small organic company, because the chemicals in regular products were freaking me out. If you go to http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ and look up your products you can see their ranking in carcinogenic and toxicity levels. Hopefully I’ll do a post about my progress soon, since I haven’t started using my products yet, but I’m hoping to see a positive outcome. Congrats on converting to organic. Less IS MORE!
Hahaha….that is coincidental. I am terrified to search what’s in my make up :S But I definitely will check, thank you for the link!
Can’t wait to hear about your experience with the organics.
Your skin is looking lovely- it’s always good to go organic

Hi! I’m Greek and I’ve been following your website since almost the beginning. It’s so nice to see you liked Korres because I love their products and their cosmetics line. I’ve been also using their hair colours, nailpolish (I love “cyclamen”) and their eye pencils (i don’t know if you can find those in Canada?)
Keep up with the good work, I love your style!
Dear Camelia,
That is so sweet, thank you so much for following and for your kind words
So far Sephora only offers KORRES skin care line but I would love to try more of their products.
Dear Marta,
Sephora online offers KORRES make up products. I recomend the jasmine lip butter and their mascaras. The effect is very natural. As you say, less is more
. I am curious about their powders, but for now I am addicted to Dior.
