Pressure of Fashion Forward

Hello Darlings, With a blur of fashion shows, dinners and parties all in the name of fashion. In the midst of downtown Toronto, some of the best international and domestic talent presented their Fall/Winter collections at the World MasterCard Fashion Week.

While the weather presented the ideal conditions to showcase cold weather collections, the fashion crowds kept putting their best foot forward while dealing with cold -10 temperatures. We may be in spring but it sure continues to feel like winter!

Attaining New Year’s Resolutions

Hello Darlings, New Year is all about resolutions and the new you! As soon as the clock strikes midnight on December 31st of every passing year, we commit to having a more successful year! A year that we could proudly look back on and know that we’ve accomplished it all. The new year is a new book and one that we hope to fill with only happy memories and great adventures.

Naturally, I enjoy the idea of a new year and the new hope that comes with it however I never embraced the idea of new year’s resolutions. Of course, I hope that the coming year is better than a previous one but I’ve never actually set goals. I think that it is best to concentrate on every day rather than 365 days ahead. Every day is an opportunity to do something great, why wait for a year to begin when today is good timing?

Hello Darlings, There is something magical about knowing that in just a few hours we will bid farewell to 2013 and welcome a new year! There’s a certain amount of joy that comes with saying that very goodbye and a sense of excitement that comes with anticipation for the unknown. A new year is a new starting line!

To welcome the new and bid farewell to the old, we take the time to look our best! This time of the year adds a little sparkle to our everyday and a few new dresses to our wardrobe. After all she who leaves a trail of glitter is never forgotten!
