Hello Darlings,

There are times when a girl should spoil herself. Maybe as a reward for a job well done, to feel better during a crummy break-up, or if you're feeling under the weather - a little time spent on yourself can be the best way to inspire and lift the spirits. Some of my personal favorites are art gallery visits, shopping at a make-up counter for spring updates, sandal shopping and some much needed girls nights on a patio. It's just a matter of showing yourself some love.

My past month has been a blur with non-stop action and events - attending two big galas last week and hosting a cocktail soiree last night - so this morning my bubbly self burst minus the rainbow colours. With long work hours and little time for myself, I decided to take half a day off this morning and just indulge! Well, kind of take a day off....

For the past few weeks, I have been on a quest for a new purse. Browsing dozens of stores and even more websites, I was on a mission to find a feminine purse with structure and colour.

In what I thought was the end, I debated for days over two different purses from Kate Spade: one pink and the other blue. However, by chance when I was make-up shopping I saw this little red darling!

Back in the day, while trying on the many dresses at BCBG Maz Azria for my prom, I was bluntly told that aside from my wedding dress my prom dress is the second most important purchase in my life. Well, I am not shopping for a wedding dress but I sure did go shopping for a prom dress, yet again! Twenty-three and going to prom! Again...

Part of the thrill of shopping is making lists. I just love planning and anticipating! While a stroll through a shopping mall can result in the occasional exciting and harmless unexpected purchase. It can become a problem if every shopping trip is unplanned.
