As I was getting dressed this evening to go out for a late dinner, I was watching some random dating with men complaining about how much a pain-in-the-a** "HIGH-MAINTENANCE" when it comes to their appearance.

My Take

Although being "high-maintenance" has a lot more to do then just looks, most women are placed into this category strictly because of their appearance. I see nothing wrong with looking great. I love dressing up, wearing awesome shoes, and having polished nails. When I look great, I feel great!!! Sure there are extremes, but are so-called "high-maintenance" women are just the ones who enjoy looking their best?

Why do men refer to women in similar terms as a cars? DO I LOOK LIKE A CAR?????? No.... all I do is try to look great, am not self-obsessed, actually quite opposite... I am my self's worst critic.

Shorts = Complicated. Finding the perfect shorts was a never ending mission until I came upon these Wilfred shorts. In my search, I tried cute classic cuts that look prim and proper, the distressed über short shorts that hardly covered my bottom and looks grunge, the boyfriend shorts that looked laid back, and countless other styles.

None of them worked for me!!! They looked alright but they were simply not me. I will only buy an item when I feel like it fits my style. And this pair WAS ME!!! YAYAY... mission impossible, made possible.

As my favorite stores continue to have amazing sales, today I ventured to Yorkdale Shopping Centre with my mother. I continue to slowly pick up items that will transition me into the fall.

The shocker of the day was Zara, which looked like a tornado went through it. Clothes were on the floor, in piles on the tables, and scattered all over the place. I've heard amazing things about Zara from other blogger's, but my experience discouraged me. So my question goes out to you my darlings, does a messy store and poor customer service discourage you from buying (in that moment or in the future)???

EVENING...As for today's outfit, well I love wearing outfits that do not require much effort and transition from day to night. I am a firm believer that it is better to be overdressed then under-dressed :) That's the main reason why I love AA Disco pants. The only difference that I settled for is my hair, I put in into a neat ponytail and added a cute bow headband.
