On the hunt...

Hello Darlings,

After years of pilates, I've become bored and have taken up swimming-about 3 times a week, 25 laps. I'm one of those people who hates the idea of gym and simply enjoy being active...ballet, jazz, rock climbing, pilates, rollerblading; biking; skiing and now swimming.

What do you do to stay active?

New hobby= shopping for new gear. Yup, I went out looking for a bathing suit...after all it turned out that pretty bikinis and one-piece suits are best for prancing around on the beach rather than being active in the pool. After swimming in my Michael Kors swimsuit and facing nearly 5 "oopsy" moments... went out searching for an athletic one-piece. Besides getting a swimsuit, I ended up picking up a beautiful top from Aritzia ( they are having a sale now); Kiehl's eye cream; Favre hair mask; a book with quotes on love by famous authors.

Fellow Canadians, is it me or is Holt Renfrew jacking up their prices. I picked up Kiehl's Abyssine Eye Cream which on-line retails for $32 American, it cost me $50 Canadian. I am sorry but our exchange rate it only 1.2. I am also pretty sure that the last time I bought it was much cheaper, because this time when she got my bill I was in shock. I've noticed the price jacking for other merchandise....

So darlings, Is Holt Renfrew jacking up prices???? If so, is it alright for high end stores to jack up their prices because... well, because they are high end???

I find that to be ridiculous..

I am wearing: Wilfred shorts; H&M Tee; Talula Cardi;Juicy Couture Satin Flats; A.V.Max Cuff; Diamond Studs ( gift from parents); Ray Ban wayfarers (gift from Andrew).As for today's outfit, well it was all about comfort...which of course included my now favorite shorts with a new top that I picked up from H&M on sale from $44.50 for $15. I fell in love with the soft pink color and the chain details, the only downside was that the only size left was L. However, after trying it on... it was a perfect loose fit. I topped it all of with my favorite flats.....I've been obsession over them for two summer now. They are amazingly comfortable and the quality is phenomenal- they still look new. If I could recommend any flats to buy... they are it!

Well, I off to study French and work on my docent package for the internship.... working from home is quite a bore... blah!
