Hello Darlings,
Living in Canada has its advantages and disadvantages...however when it comes to fashion, it is mostly a disadvantage. Well, unless you're willing to adapt, adjust and embrace the beauty of Canadian freezing winters. Personally, I love winter...for the activities, holiday season, and of course the million ways one must learn to stay warm :P In some cases it is finding a pair of boots that are not only fabulous but practical, water-proof and warm ( my secret: a pair of good quality ski socks, those babies are über warm! Give them a try!) or finding that ideal winter jacket....or in my case, the struggle to find a perfect LBD ( little black dress) that is suitable for -20s and chic parties!!!.....

Winter has arrived.... with a crazy snow storm and freezing temperatures. I was excited to get outside to wear my new Mackage peaches jacket. However, the moment I stepped outside, I changed my mind! Today, I spent my day in Godiva picking up some gifts and indulging in chocolate (what else can make a girl feel better?!), reading Gospel According to Chanel and of course resting after my car accident.

I don't want to be mopey but having a concussion and all sorts of pain sucks, but things could have been much worse and I am glad that they are not! So my advise to those of you who are in a low point in their life (such as my post accident life) is....

Checking in to wish everyone a lovely day. Today, I have some University classes and then a million errands. But since I am driving, I felt like playing dress up and wear heels and a skirt. Otherwise, heels are a no-go!!!

What an amazing weekend including a super fun birthday and a masquerade soiree night full of arts, and of course some shopping. I was wearing my new velvet dress from H&M and was dying to debut it... especially, since it was my first time wearing velvet.
English
