With Hanukkah underway and Christmas just around the corner, I spent yesterday shopping for gifts and to Godiva for Dark Chocolate Decadence for a treat for me. As the day wore on, I realized how with the holiday season comes rudeness and irritability both in staff and customers.

It's a stressful time and everyone deals with stress differently, but why do some completely lose their sense of manners?

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to receive two pairs of Cougar boots and a beautiful care package from Matchstick (Thank you!). Of course I was super excited to give these Canadian babies a try especially since the brand has such a great history (note: in now way has this opportunity influenced my opinion to review the product).

Since 1948, Cougar has been creating footwear in Ontario to keep our feet toasty warm through cold Canadian winters. This year, Cougar released a fashion forward line that features cute details such a buckles and faux-fur. Today, I had the opportunity to test out my very own pair of Ringo Star Boots that retail for $200.

So I checked my trusty fashion books for tips on how to find that ideal cocktail dress as well as how to decode a party invitation. I am sure everyone has encountered an invitation that left you dazed and confused as to what is expected of your attire.

With winter coming and temperatures dropping with every single day, I feel a bit frustrated as if I am hitting a style rut; constantly living in jeans, boots, cashmere sweaters, and leather jackets. Sure the combination changes, but the formula stays the same... and it feels dull!

I am not saying that you need a dozen unique outfits in order to feel great. Actually, I will argue that you need only a selection of key winter pieces in order to feel and look fabulous (I am working on a Vlog for this topic!). All we need for a satisfying Cold Weather Wardrobe are key pieces and just a little inspiration. I bet that every single one of us has an amazing selection of beautiful clothing hanging in the wardrobe just waiting for us to get creative with :)
