Hello Darlings,
I bought a membership for the Art Gallery of Ontario and visited Boucher's Les Sabots exhibit for my critique. The gallery was recently re-done by the famous Frank Gehry and is very impressive. I can't wait to take the architectural tour!

The spiral staircases - similar to the Guggenheim in New York - are conservative with the twist. As for my Art Gallery outfit you could say it's the same - conservative - but I did try something different with my hair...

I really loved what they did with the hair at Carolina Herrera (spring 09) and decided to try it myself but by adding a girly twist - a ponytail, instead of tucking away my hair. It is comfortable and neat, and would definitely work in summer when it is humid.
I am wearing:
Soia & Kyo jacket
Ralph Lauren Top
French Connection Trousers
Michael Kors Oxfords
Accessories &Beyond Bracelets in Gold

Seriously, if you need some alone time to contemplate all things beautiful - visit your local gallery. You will be surprised as to how refreshed you can feel after.
Hello Darlings,
Vacation is for relaxing and getting away from your everyday life - but it is not the time to look frumpy. It is the time to look and feel fabulous - although easier said then done.... So here's my attempt at being vacation fabulous in my Tiny Bikini.
A bikini is the most important article of " clothing" during any beach vacation, but it is also the most dreaded one...
Prancing around in a bikini is of course intimidating, and I for one am uncomfortable parading around a resort half-naked. So I mostly wore a dress or shorts outside the beach area ( bar, restaurants, lobby, etc) ...
I am wearing:
Moschino Triangle Bikini
Ray Ban Wayfarers
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
American Apparel Lame Headband

I am wearing:
Christian Audigier Peacock One Piece Swimsuit
The moment I say this swimsuit, I fell in love with it ... it is very comfortable and sits in all the right places. I don't think that any swimsuit ever made me feel as confident and feminine as this one ... if I could, I would wear it everyday.

I am wearing:
Ella Moss Daisy Off Shoulder Dress
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
I am wearing:
Wilfred Dress
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
Ray Ban Wayfarers
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
I am wearing:
Abercrombie &Fitch Shorts
Abercrombie & Fitch Top
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
I am wearing:
H&M Top
Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts

NIGHT TIME
When the sun set, Cancun city came to life... The party atmosphere there is amazing and Andrew and I definately look advantage of that. Every night, we explored a new and amazing nightclub.
Here are some of our memories...
As for wardrobe, I usually wore simple dresses with heels or flats... nothing too complicated.
As for make up....
In a hot and humid climate, the last thing you want is to wear a ton of make up... half way through the night your face will be melting off - TRUST ME not a pretty sight ( and I saw a lot of it)
Hello Darlings,
I am back ... and wish I wasn't!!!! I LOVE MEXICO!!! It was an unforgettable vacation that was filled with tons of fun, drunken moments , sunny days, and awesome adventures.
Cancun was an ideal vacation destination, with incredible night life and amazing adventure. Grand Oasis is a beautiful 5 star resort, and is definitely the heart of the party!!!
My vacation wardrobe was simple and casual. It mainly consisted of bikinis, summery dresses, my new Miss Trish of Capri Sandals ( i lived in them), high heels, flats, jeans, and tees.
Blast off: Traveling from Canada to Mexico can be a bit difficult, since we left during a crazy snow storm so it was annoying to carry heavy winter clothes when I arrived in hot Mexico.
I am wearing:
M. Rena Wool Sweater
Gap Long Sveele Cotton Shirt
Juicy Couture Flats - so comfy
Gap Leather Purse
Coach Swingback
I wore fluffy flats and my favorite M. Rena sweater. My carry on luggage consisted of two purses, my favorite large leather hobo and a Coach swingpack. And of course, no make up - it is just really bad for your skin on the flight.NEW YEARS All I can say is nothing can compare to ringing in the new year in Cancun.... Simply WOW!!! NEW YEARS IN CANCUN MEXICO: Nothing compares to ringing in the new year in Cancun....New Years eve is always a big deal to me and having an opportunity to celebrate it in Cancun meant that I had to find a perfect dress. I wore a simple yet comfortable breeze dress from French Connection. It was an an unforgettable night in Cancun city.
I am wearing:
French Connection Dress with pockets
Michael Kors Heels
To kick-off our New Years eve, we had an amazing dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse, and then went to The City night club with Sandra Collins DJ'ing. To cap off our night there was a party by a swimming pool in our resort.
The New Years celebration lasted into the wee hours of the morning.... :)
When Andrew and I were deciding on our vacation destination earlier this year, we knew that we wanted to have a cultural experience as well as a party atmosphere, therefore Mexico seemed like an ideal choice. For me, as an architectural freak seeing the ruins was probably the most exciting part of the trip ( I am a geek, I know,lol)... and although, I wish I could have seen as three sites close to Cancun (Chichen Itza, Tulum, and Coba) .... I settled for Coba.
I am wearing: French Connection Cotton Tee Dress Miss Trish of Capri Sandals Ray Ban Wayfarers Coba is a large ruined city of the Pre-Colonial Mayan civilization and is also a location of the newly discovered Mayan ruins and pyramids. The site was opened to the public in 1972 and only 8 % of an estimate of 6,000 structures are restored. The main pyramid, Nohoch Mul is 42 meters tall ( 138 feet) and is the highest in the Yucatan Peninsula. Our day was filled with adventure in a Mayan village located in the jungle, where we had a Mayan ceremony with a shaman, ate Mayan food with the locals, wandered around a jungle,Zip-lined across the lake, went swimming in a meteorite crater( Cenote), as well as water canoeing through a lagoon.
The day was definately filled with adventure and excitement that is truly unforgettable. The other half of the pictures are coming up soon :)
To a certain degree I am glad to be back... but still adjusting to the brutal cold weather. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it on the 7th!!!!!Hello Darlings,
I leave for a vacation to Mexico tomorrow, and have a day full of girly things. But first, I want to share photos of my outfit today in my American Apparel disco pants....
For my trip, I bought a pair of Michael Kors Patent Leather Oxfords and couldn't wait to wear them with my new American Apparel Disco pants....
I am bringing this outfit to Cancun Mexico to wear to the night clubs. Although it's a little risque, I love experimenting and these pants are definitely out there for me.
I am wearing:
BCBG Max Azria Blazer
Guess Corset
Accessories & Beyond Elastic Bracelet Set in Black & Gold
A.V. Max Gold Studded Cuff
Michael Kors Patent Leather Oxfords
And to inspire my packing, I am taking Victoria Beckham's advice about what to bring. Here's two quotes from " That Extra Half an Inch"....
"Don't bother with flashy designer luggage. There's a good chance it could get stolen as it attracts attention..."
" Always bring a dressy outfit as you just never know where your holiday might take you..."
I try to stick to the formula of bringing something casual ( plain T-shirts, miniskirts), something classic ( nice V-necks, a pencil skirt and a plain dress) and then something a bit more out there for some fun."
I wish you all a lovely day!!!
