Shorts = Complicated. Finding the perfect shorts was a never ending mission until I came upon these Wilfred shorts. In my search, I tried cute classic cuts that look prim and proper, the distressed über short shorts that hardly covered my bottom and looks grunge, the boyfriend shorts that looked laid back, and countless other styles.

None of them worked for me!!! They looked alright but they were simply not me. I will only buy an item when I feel like it fits my style. And this pair WAS ME!!! YAYAY... mission impossible, made possible.

The weather has been amazing the past few days, perfect for exploring the countryside (my grandparents own a farm few kilometers outside of the city).

I also spent time with my niece and her mom in the park. Followed by some grown-up time in the evening with some girlfriends.

As for the outfit, running around the playground called for comfortable footwear and stretchy jeans. I paired Michael Kors wedges with my super-comfy Notify jeans and an open-back tee.

It's as if I jinxed myself. Two days ago, the temperature was in the mid 20's and today it is so cold. Thankfully I packed my trusty Michael Kors booties. I am finally getting over my jetleg (Ukraine is 7 hours ahead of Canada) and enjoying every minute with my family.

Today, I bought a guide book and started sightseeing in Lviv, which has an amazing history dating back to 1247. The city is in western Ukraine, and is known as one of the main cultural centers in the country. The beauty of the nature is also phenomenal, especially outside the city. The rolling hills, beautiful fields, and unforgettable sunsets.

Me being an architecture and art freak,I have to make sure that I visit every landmark and museum ( sooo many churches to see, lol). My trip is going by sooo fast.
