Hello Darlings,

With warm weather and a swimming pool ten stories below, I've been enjoying and exploring Texas. Early last week, I came to Austin Texas and have love this city. In contrast to Houston, Austin is much smaller, more intimate and charming.

In Houston, I loved my time in The Galleria, which is at once a shopping dream and nightmare. One of the largest shopping malls in America, The Galleria has great stores but the lay out is confusing. I also enjoyed Houston's City Center, which has a combination of upscale stores and restaurants.

This week my travels bring me to Houston Texas. With beautiful, sunny and warm weather this is a huge change from snowy Canada. Texas has always been on my list of places to go and I am excited! As mentioned in the previous post, I chose to only bring a carry-on and happy with the choice to do so.

Despite this being a two week trip, I was determined to be an efficient packer. So in a sense this trip was an experiment in terms of wardrobe selection. I was curious to see if I can go away for an extended period with just a carry-on and a purse. So, far so good... but as the days go on,who knows!

Well, TOMMY is the recently launched line by Tommy Hilfiger. Since the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary, the designer is marking the occasion with an apparel line that is geared towards his 25-year-old customers. After all, they were the ones who made the brand iconic during the 90s when the Tommy jeans and rugby shirts were all the rage. This time around "eclectic mix of travel, nautical and neon, the Spring 2011 collection continues the pretty with an edge design aesthetic."
