Hello Darlings,
Scarves are my favorite accessories for fall and winter. So I did some reading about stylish ways to wear scarves, and these are the ones that appeal to me the most:
My favorite style when wearing with a bulky sweater. Cross over the sides twice and then bring the end to the back, and then create a simple knot, or like me let it hang loose.
My favorite way of wearing a scarf is a European Loop, which is the easiest and quickest. Fold the scarf and let it dangle around your neck, then take one side and bringing trough the loop and ta da...
The twice round ascot is perfect to keep you warm. Wrap the scarf around your neck and then tie a neat knot as seen in the above photo.
Decorative and also pretty with a silk scarf. All you do is make a knot on one side and bring the end of the other side through the knot.

Hello Darlings,
My obsessive compulsive shopping continues. I spent the morning shopping online and the afternoon shopping with my mother. I was determined to find a purse, and my fellow blogger Ashleigh suggested that I check out Marc by Marc Jacobs purses at Holt's (Canadian equivalent to Barney's and Saks).
I was on a mission to find a leather purse to use daily to carry my laptop. Although, I really did like the look Marc Jacobs purses, they weigh a ton. So in misery and disappointment I left empty handed...
That is until I decided to stop at Gap! Strange, I would never have thought to find a purse in Gap but it was very light, spacious and quality is great. I also bought skin care stuff from Sephora, a few Gap tees, and this yellow Ed Hardy Dress.
Here it is: TA - TATaking advice from a fellow blogger, the lovely Couture Carrie I bought a pair of black J Brand Skinnies. A girl can't have too many pairs of jeans.
And I could not resist buying this simple cashmere dress, and the price made the purchase even sweeter.

Hello Darlings,
Although my day was mostly spent driving around the city running errands, I did manage to get some cool snapshots of some interesting places in Toronto.
I started my day with a very slloooooowwwww drive from Etobicoke to downtown Toronto on the Gardiner un-expressway (5 minute drive took 35 minutes).
So, I entertained myself by taking pictures of the stunning view of downtown Toronto from the highway. (Please don't try this - and I swear that usually I am a very careful driver :)
After the long drive and finally finding a parking spot, I dropped by my office (well, my professors office). Here's the deal, I have an awesome job as a research assistant to one of my architecture professors.
She is an incredible and inspiring woman, who allows me to work from home and from the office. Wicked, I know? It also means that I have no schedule :) Well, here it is ....
CHECK OUT THE VIEW .... i can never stop staring ( so distracting)
After the office fun, I headed for some real fun at the spa to get a routine facial and some girly things. And now on to the serious stuff, my outfit of the day:
Today's look was simple. Comfort was essential for such a long hot day, but I still wanted to look cute so I wore my H&M parachute top with my skinnies and of course my FLATS from Brown Shoes.
I am Wearing:
Corpus Alpha in Cracked
Organic Cotton H&M Parachute Top
Brown Couture Italian Leather Flats
Olivia Dove Necklace by Kimberly Baker Jewelry
Chanel Sunglasses
I'm a flat lover, they are perfect for running around downtown all day long while trying to look cute when it is 30 degrees outfit. So, here's my question:
CAN A MODERN DAY WOMAN WEAR HEELS EVERY DAY? For me, the answer is NO.As a student it is impossible to spend an entire day on heels, especially when my university is located all over downtown. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes to get from one lecture to another by foot. And try crossing an entire park on heels is impossible. So my solution is flats that are cute, comfy, and still give an outfit that dressed up feeling.
What was once reserved for casual Fridays is now also for stately affairs. The look appeals to all fashion lovers, from the first lady of France to style setter Kate Moss.
SO, WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON FLATS?
At the comfort of my bed with a cup of strong espresso, I love to indulge in a little bit of innocent shopping.... three hours later and my order is in. I try to justify to myself that this is my wardrobe prep for the fall time and that there is no way I would find better deals later on....AND Today, it was all about Bluefly and here are my finds, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK .... and HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHOP ON LINE? ANY FAVORITE SITES?
Habitual Pitch Black " Placebo" Skinny Jeans
I've been searching for a black pair of skinnies for a while now, until I found these babies and the price was irresistible. Plus, they can be easily dressed up or down :)
Hayden Fuchsia Cashmere Scoopneck Sweater
You can never go wrong with cashmere and the splash of colour is something I desperately needed.
Alisha Levine Coral Silk Raceback Trapeze Tank
Perfect for going out and it would look awesome with the black skinnies.

A visit to a nearby Starbucks and then a stroll in the park with my" better-half"(hehe), was a cheery on top of a perfect day.
