A huge part of being Canadian is to be geared up and ready to face the cruel and long winters.... that means acquiring multiple coats, parkas, winter boots, and of course heavy moisturizers and lip balm....
And although I enjoy the snowy days spent on the ski slopes, I don't enjoy dressing for the winter time. I find it can be dull, boring and rather frustrating. But for some fashion inspiration, I visited the Sartorialist and found some inspiration with this jacket.
Full Circle and No Mixing of Black and Brown: Although my outfit is not as exciting as hers, it is warm and cozy. I also present my brown side of the closet: I have black and brown side in which each color has it's own things that goes with it (jackets, shoes, sweaters, bags, etc).
WOULD YOU MIX BLACK AND BROWN? WHY OR WHY NOT?
I've also been asked to show a close up of my new Michael Kors babies. The most comfortable boot ever: suede with patent leather detailing...
I am wearing: Full Circle Wool Jacket Club Monaco Cashmere sweater J brand Jeans Portolano Cashmere Gloves Regina Italia Handmade Italian Leather Bag
These Michael Kors boots have a patent leather stripe running along the back, and I love how they add length to a leg. They are also super practical for winter since they have a flat heel.
If you live in Canada, what are your winter favorites?
With Love...

Hello Darlings,
Rosebud Salve
- If I was stranded on a deserted island...this would be my only product.
- I use it for everything.
- It is always in my bag, next to my bed, and in my bathroom.
Kerastase Masque Nutri-Defense and BedHead Tigi HeadRush
- I use it nce a week to repair my hair damage.
- It is a bit expensive and hard to find, but it really is magic.
- Bedhead Shine Mist is lightweight and makes my hair shiny and frizz free .
Tea and Ice Cubes
Smelling great and feeling fresh are super important.
I use Clarins antiperspirant, which keeps me dry and fresh all day.
As for my perfume, Coco Mademoiselle is my all time favorite.
Exercise: Ballet Stretches and Rock climbing
- I still do the same stretches I did when I danced ballet, and if you're new to it: Check Out this book " NYC Ballet Workout" by Peter Martins ( click). This book is very good.
- Rock climbing is my hobby and it gives me pretty good exercise.
- On the side note, I hate gyms... but I stay active by stretching couple times a week, rock climbing weekly, ski with my dad in the winter, and rollerblade in the summer.

Do you have any "beauty or diet secrets", products that you can't live without or that you just totally hate....
I've always loved Sonia Rykiel and her signature black, stripes, lace, rhinestones and sweaters. "The Queen of Knitwear" is especially fabulous with pull over sweaters and her use of stripes.
Horizontality: Although horizontal stripes can be intimidating to wear, I believe anyone can wear them as long as they fall in the right places. So with inspiration from Rykiel, I set out to find a perfect pull over with stripes.... and here it is from Autumn Cashmere.
I WISH YOU ALL A BEAUTIFUL DAY
