Hello Darlings, There is something magical about knowing that in just a few hours we will bid farewell to 2013 and welcome a new year! There's a certain amount of joy that comes with saying that very goodbye and a sense of excitement that comes with anticipation for the unknown. A new year is a new starting line!

To welcome the new and bid farewell to the old, we take the time to look our best!  This time of the year adds a little sparkle to our everyday and a few new dresses to our wardrobe. After all she who leaves a trail of glitter is never forgotten!

For one of the many wonderful holiday soirees, I had the pleasure of picking out an outfit from the newly openedWhite House | Black Market store at the Yorkdale Mall. The brand is new to Canada with three stores just opened in Yorkdale, Square One Shopping Centre and Upper Canada Mall. Famously loved by Michelle Obama, WH|BM is known for fashionable and sophisticated clothing and accessories, from everyday basics, to wear-to-work and of course cocktail. The label primarily features black and white colors with seasonal color splashes. It's simplicity refined!

Holiday season is not the only time that a woman should shine. Everyday is a perfect day to feel beautiful and put your best foot forward. Ladies, we all know that an outfit can make or ruin our day! Nothing feels better than knowing that you look beautiful. Plus, sparkles are not just for evening or holidays! Think of how amazing a sequin touch would look in the daylight.

With that in mind, I decided to select a look that can be worn separately and for many occasions. To me holidays are all about sparkle which is why this stunning champagne dress stole the show. I adorned the dress with a precious bow belt to accentuate my waist. For colder weather, every woman should also have a  dress coat that can be worn over a dress or a pant suit.  Each piece works as perfectly together as it does on its own. From holiday season to everyday, it is easy to transition even the most festive pieces. All you need is a touch of creativity.
