Summer Getaways...

Hello Darlings, 

This weekend is the Victoria Day holiday in Canada and it's a long weekend. So I am spending the weekend in cottage country north of Toronto.

With amazing weather  and  sunny days, I can finally break out my summer wardrobe. My weekend getaway is a combination of relaxing and the good old parties. The challenging part is always the outfits.

I love the beach and lounging in tiny dresses and bikinis. However, for nights out it is always a challenge. With an I-just-don't-care frame of mind, it is hard to look club "appropriate" and effortless.

My getaways are all about no make-up, Godiva liqueur over-indulgence and  a whole-lot of nothing. For those of you who do not like the taste of alcohol, try Godiva Liqueur. I love the white chocolate!

As for the outfits, the shorts and blazer were worn for a quick dinner. Nothing complicated, just a pair of my favorite breezy silk/cotton shorts and a leather blazer. I am crazy in love with this blazer. It is so versatile and useful, who could have thought  that wearing leather in the summer can be so easy!
