5 Nutrients For a Healthy Complexion
Hello Darlings, your best accessory is always a glowing complexion! No designer shoes or sparkling jewels will ever come close in comparison to having beautiful skin. With the arrival of spring and summer just weeks away, there is no better time than today to be sure your skin care is at it's glowing best!
Like many women, I am much more attentive to my skin care during warm weather seasons. However no amount of moisturizers or expensive skin treatments make a difference in the same way that our diet can. To improve my skin and educate myself about which foods best help the anti-aging process, I did a little research to learn five key things that every woman should know when optimizing her diet!
1. Avoid Sugar
Sadly #1 on the list, but sugars cause all types of inflammations, including acne. Worse still, sugars can make your skin looking older than your years if you eat too much.
2.Eat Wild Alaskan Salmon
Three times per weeks to keep your skin gorgeous, since it contains astaxanthin and DMAE. Astaxanthin is the red algae that salmon eat, which acts as a natural sunscreen and a wrinkle-fighter. DMAE gives contours to your face and body by stimulating your muscles to contract.
3. Eat Avocado and Raw Nuts and Seeds
This will help moisturize your skin from within.
4. Eat Blueberries and Cantaloupe
They plump and protect the delicate cells of your skin.
5.Drink Green Tea and Water
Water helps to moisturize skin and increase its elasticity, and replenish skin cells and tissues
