KORRES: My New Skin Care Favourite

Hello Darlings, One of my new year resolutions is to take a better care of my body and mind, so I recently switched my daily skin care routine to use organic products by KORRES.

Herbal Remedies to Natural Products KORRES is a Greek skincare brand with over 400 natural or certified organic products.It was founded in 1996 by George Korres out of Athens' oldest homoeopathic pharmacy. Their formulas are considered to be amongst the most environmentally friendly and skin-compatible. This is accomplished by avoiding synthetic compounds such as (which are found in most skin care products ):

petroleum derivatives such as mineral oils

silicones - which are synthetic and non-biodegradable

propylene glycol - which is linked to a number of allergies

ethanolamines - which are linked to skin irritations.

As I've always been an avid label checker, this brand really does what it says. So far I have seen great improvements in my skin and knowing that the line is as "clean" as possible gives me a peace of mind. My mother raised me to believe that less is more, which could explain why I use very few products. Along with my regular sunscreen from Clarins, the following are the products that I have been using for the past month or so:

Wild Rose Face and Eye Serum

A natural source of vitamin C, wild rose has shown the ability to repair fine lines and wrinkles, imperfections, and skin discolorations. Rich in linoleic and linolenic acid, wild rose oil has healing, moisturising, and softening properties and forms a protective film on the skin that helps cell regeneration and improves the texture of the epidermis

Evening Primrose Eye Cream

When taken as a supplement, evening primrose allows the body to use water five times more effectively. Evening primrose extract, which, in conjunction with vitamin K1 and ruscus, promotes blood microcirculation, illuminating the under-eye area and erases dark circles. Evening primrose also stimulates collagen synthesis while plumping fine lines around the delicate eye area.
