Girls Night Out with Wine Australia
Hello Darlings, What a fabulous week I’ve had with the excitement of World MasterCard Toronto Fashion week, and the joy that I experienced during our Fabulous Girls Night Out!
On March 13th together with designer Melissa Nepton, I had the pleasure of co-hosting WithLoveGabrielle.com's first reader event with Wine Australia and Eight Wine Bar. In the company of close friends and colleagues, I also had the pleasure of finally meeting some of you! Foremost, I would like to thank everyone who did stop by!
In the candle lit Eight Wine Bar, our ever so charming sommelier — Andrew von Teichman of Von Terra — shared many fun stories and lots of interesting details to make our wine tasting experience in a word “fabulous”. Australia wines are some of my personal favourites, and it was interesting to learn from Andrew how the tastes differ primarily because of the diversity of the climates for the various vineyards we sampled - extending from maritime climates of Western Australia across the continent to the cool mountain ranges found in Victoria and New South Wales
Beginning with a glass of crisp and refreshing white wine, we then sampled four reds that were increasingly bold. With each taste the conversation flowed smoothly, and it was fun to many new things and to share the experience live with about 30 of you! Without the hassle of a bar or the bustle of night club, the evening was intimate and relaxing. Despite being slightly nervous to host such a large group for the first time, it was amazing to see how well everyone mingled all evening!

The celebration was a very special occasion for me, so I wore my new Betsey Johnson baby-doll dress. Although not typically a fan of Betsey's prom-queen style, I thought this dress was adorable yet classic. It surely was a party dress and this girl was ready for a party!
My friend designer Melissa Nepton also had a nice surprise for all of our guests with invitation to attend World MasterCard Fashion Week to see her new stunning Éolia collection the following evening.
