Finding Summer Pumps: Mimosa Heels

Hello Darlings,  For the past few months I've searched everywhere for a special pair of summer heels! That's right not just any heels but ones that would be especially for a sunny summer day :) I did not want sandals and especially ones that are open toe. I was looking for a pair of  classic pumps that would give every outfit an effortless feel. In my mind a pump looks more polished then a sandal, but then again it is just what my view, at least for now!

What can I say, once I put my mind to something it needs to be done. It was a long mission, but I did find a pair of textile espadrille pumps from Mimosa. The pair is a perfect combination of  polished yet effortless! Plus finding them on sale was a cherry on top of this girls cake.

For those who are not familiar with Mimosa shoes, the brand is from Singapore and is sold in Browns Shoes in Canada. The price range is within $200-500 and is good quality from my experience. Normally, their shoes run smaller and tighter and take time to break in. When  new, Mimosa shoes are a bit hard to break-in so I added insoles into mine.

When it comes to summer shoes, the simpler the better. For me, summer is about effortless looks that are breezy! I love a muted color palette with whites, silks and linens - so often leather shoes are too overwhelming for the look.

Finding a perfect summer pump was the missing piece of my summer wardrobe's puzzle. Every girl wants one specific accessory in their wardrobe, for me this summer was all about shoes made out of textile and espadrilles.
