I was amazed too because my friends were sending in votes for the both of us…and then all of a sudden I saw the contest closed and you were in the lead then..didnt win…I was shocked…really…oh well…I think it might be my last too..but who knows…

150 votes in 10 minutes? 15 votes/ minute? FOUR VOTES/ SECOND?!Sounds a lot like someone has a friend that knows a thing or two about computers. I suspect someone created a program to loop through and votevotevote in a way that Elle's site couldn't detect that it was the same person. (Not unlike Victoria's Secret's similar issue: http://www.marketingvox.com/uni-devs-hack-victorias-secret-collegiate-campaign-042140/ )
Regardless, keeping up first place (honestly) for so long is quite the accomplishment and I'm sure it gave your blog lots of publicity and new readers- well done and, I'm guessing, well worth it.

It seems a little fishy to me as well, Anonymous. That many votes in such little time…hmm… nevertheless, Marta, You looked beautiful, classy and stylish in your photos! With your sense of style and confidence, you have certainly inspired many people, myself included.
I am very sorry to hear that. As far as I was concerned none of the contestants held a candle to you. Please, do not let it stop you from challenging yourself in the future. Always try to remeber that each and everyone of this experiences will add something t your life. You are still one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen.
