Hello Darlings,

I am getting ready for an event but wanted to take a moment to share this stunning editorial. I adore classic and simple styles. Classic is Holly standing in front of that legendary Tiffany’s screen, with her perfect up-do, exquisite pearl necklace, and one-of-a-kind LBD!!! Classic will always remain timeless and in style. What do you think…are you excited for the revival? Or do you prefer a more edgy, grungy or boho fashion?

Enjoy!!!

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Wishing Everyone a Beautiful Monday!!!!

With Love…

Marta

Great editorial; thanks for sharing Marta! I’m surprised they didn’t do more Chanel, but I guess that would have been too predictable. Can’t wait to see your take on it!

  7. i love classic pieces, but the look as a whole seems dated to me. the editorial is ah-mazing, but that’s not realistic daily style. i love the colors and the head scarves, but i’m way to grungy.

im really enjoying all the posts you have here :)
you have great style and a good eye in fashion !!

  9. I like how the writers described all of these purses as “quietly luxurious”…nothing could be more fitting than those two words. Sorry I’m not commenting on the editorial itself; I just love good copy. Heh.

Great editorial! Not quite a fan of the chunky heels but I do love the Chanel bag! I am excited for the revivial although I love to pair classic pieces with fun ones as well :)

As you say, classic will always be classic, and though I am in love with classic silhouettes and lines, I can’t say I am excited for this revival at all. Fashion in the hands of the powers that be is just a cycle. They use one ‘look’ to rags-and-tatters, and then switch it up or switch back to another and then try to justify why it is ‘the current thing to do’. Though I understand that the double-edged blade of fashion is to always try and push boundaries and feel ‘new’, I am not really impressed, or looking forward to this revival. To me, I will always dress classically, whether or not it is currently ‘in vogue’.

I’m sorry if this comment comes off as being really snarky, but I have to say that none of it is directed at you. :) Just how stupid I feel ‘fashion’ and ‘trends’ can be sometimes. Why can’t we just all dress the way we want without having to be told that ‘this’ is current, and ‘that’ is not?
