Hello Darlings,
Sometimes a girl just wants to kick back, let her hair loose, and go for a beer with her man. But in my world even in a pub a girl should always try her best to look adorable :P
To dress for my Guinness night out — my beer of preference — I wore my not so typical pair of Converse sneakers. I am not so much of a sneaker person, aside from occasionally wearing my preppy Tretorns. For that matter, I am neither a denim cut offs kind of a girl but here I am sporting two pieces that are completely out of character. It might have something to do with recent developments and future plans, or perhaps I am craving simplicity at times when things are anything but that. Regardless of the reason, it is a girl's prerogative to change her mind on fashion!
Hello Darlings,
Often when I feel like spending time alone, I visit an art gallery or a book store. After finishing the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy - loved it - I was on a mission to find my next read. My first attempt to find a book was a failure - any suggestions? - but a selection of adorable postcards did catch my eye.

I've always been fond of sending postcards for different occasions including thank you's; and this box was so unique and adorable that I couldn't resist it. The illustations were simple, yet so genious! They are so pop art!

Hello Darlings,
Do you know those days when you just can't wait for the clock to hit midnight so the day is finally officially over? Yesterday was that day for me! It sucked in a major way. It started with mixing up the time for a lunch date (stupid! and I feel horrible), then sending a wrong e-mail, then getting into a disagreement with someone near and dear, and last but not least I even found a tiny hole in my favorite silk blouse! One word: Disaster! I had a bad day that now needs a day of damage control, and a trip to Club Monaco.
That's the thing about life, sometimes there are days when you just want to hide under a big comfy blanket and not face the light of day. As a returned home last night to end the work part of my day, I felt like all the weight of the world was on my shoulders. Yes, everyone makes mistakes but that does not prevent one from feeling lousy.
