Hello Darlings,

Just wanted to say a quick hello. I usually avoid pictures when in a bad mood - aka exam time. Really, who wants to see grumpy / exhausted images! Despite the stress, taking care of yourself is important. This is my attempt at looking fabulous when feeling non-fabulous :P

Does school and fashion go hand in hand? Probably not, but in my world they definitely could and should. Being a university student, I face this dilemma everyday when getting dressed: how can I be stylish and still not be perceived as “trying too hard”?

My personal style is preppy girl meets fashionista. So when dressing up for school, I can never really define what+what = Marta Tryshak’s style. Let’s just say that I like feeling pulled-together and neat.

Valentine’s Day is one occasion when you’re expected to be cheesy. I do not like the idea of expecting grand romantic gestures from your sweetheart because that is what the rest of the world is doing. However, I do think positively of Valentine’s Day as it presents an opportunity for couples to spend that extra time together and do something that is more “special”.

Romance…sure! But I prefer fun over lovey-dovey, overly-cheesy romance...
